Am frühen Morgen fahren wir in Richtung Süden der Stadt durch die Allee der Vulkane, die so genannt wird, weil wir, wenn es das Wetter erlaubt, Hügel und Vulkane wie Pasochoa, Corazón, Ilinizas und andere beobachten können, bis wir sie erreichen der Cotopaxi-Nationalpark, wo wir das Interpretationszentrum besuchen werden, hier wird unser Führer alle Ihre Fragen über den höchsten aktiven Vulkan der Welt erklären und beantworten.
Wir besuchen weiterhin die Lagune von Limpiopungo und machen einen interessanten Spaziergang, um Vögel und Pflanzen zu beobachten, die sich an dieses kalte Klima angepasst haben. Auf dem Rückweg wartet unser Transportmittel auf Sie, um eine Rosenplantage zu besuchen und zu sehen, wie die besten Blumen der Welt produziert werden.
Am Ende dieses farbenfrohen Halts wird unser Reiseleiter Sehenswürdigkeiten vorschlagen und Zeit für das Mittagessen einplanen. Am Nachmittag kehren Sie nach Quito zurück und unser Reiseleiter bringt Sie zu Ihrem Hotel.

The experience of visiting Cotopaxi and the Rose production tour was good. The only problem was our reservation stated that the pickup would be at 7:30. However, our guide showed up at 8:00. He stated that he was told to be at the hotel at that time. We have had previous messages via What’s App regarding pick up time or any updates which did not occur today.
Rose Tour was brilliant, guide was asleep all the on way back after lunch all the way back to the City. Cotopaxi walk around the lagoon was ok but not what we expected (seemigly other side gives full view when weather not too bad.)

The guide and driver were very informative and punctual. On the way to Cotopaxi we stopped at view points and learned about the volcanos which surround Quito. We did in fact book the incorrect tour (we hoped to hike to the glacier which wasn't this tour). The guide facilitated the change without issue, organising local guides to take us to the refuge in a 4x4. *Do be aware that this tour is to the Cotopaxi Laguna and not above.* We were very happy and would certainly use this company again!
Visiting cotopaxi is impressive but you need to be lucky to see the mountain not too covered with clouds. Wind also plays its part and can be strong. There are many trails in the park so you don't have to climb too high. There are a few haciendas in the park with awesome views.
