Die Seilbahn Tsakhkadzor befindet sich an einem Hang des Teghenis-Berges. Aus der Höhe von 2819 m, wohin Sie der Speed-Sessellift in 32 Minuten bringt, ist ganz Armenien auf einen Blick sichtbar – bei klarem Wetter bietet es einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Berg Ararat.
Der Sevan-See ist das größte Gewässer in Armenien und der Kaukasus-Region. Es ist einer der größten Süßwasser-Hochgebirgsseen (Alpen) in Eurasien. Der See liegt in der Provinz Gegharkunik auf einer Höhe von 1.900 m über dem Meeresspiegel. Die Gesamtoberfläche seines Beckens beträgt etwa 5.000 km2 (1.900 Quadratmeilen), was 1⁄6 des Territoriums Armeniens ausmacht. Der See selbst ist 1.242 km2 (480 Quadratmeilen) und das Volumen beträgt 32,8 km3 (7,9 Kubikmeter). Es wird von 28 Flüssen und Bächen gespeist. Nur 10 % des einströmenden Wassers wird vom Fluss Hrazdan abgeleitet, während die restlichen 90 % verdunsten.
Sevanavank ist ein Klosterkomplex auf einer Halbinsel am nordwestlichen Ufer des Sevan-Sees in der armenischen Provinz Gegharkunik, nicht weit von der Stadt Sevan entfernt. Ursprünglich wurde das Kloster am Südufer einer kleinen Insel errichtet. Nach der künstlichen Entwässerung des Sewansees, die in der Ära Joseph Stalins begann, sank der Wasserspiegel um etwa 20 Meter und die Insel verwandelte sich in eine Halbinsel. Am Südufer dieser neu geschaffenen Halbinsel wurde ein Gästehaus des Armenischen Schriftstellerverbandes errichtet. Das Ostufer wird von der Sommerresidenz des armenischen Präsidenten besetzt, während das noch aktive Priesterseminar des Klosters in neu errichtete Gebäude am Nordufer der Halbinsel umzieht. Laut einer Inschrift in einer der Kirchen wurde das Kloster Sevanavank 874 von Prinzessin Mariam, der Tochter von Ashot, gegründet.
Dilijan (armenisch: Դիլիջան) ist ein Kurort und eine städtische Gemeinde in der armenischen Provinz Tavush. Von den Einheimischen normalerweise Armenische Schweiz oder Kleine Schweiz genannt, ist es einer der wichtigsten Ferienorte Armeniens, der sich im Dilijan-Nationalpark befindet. Die bewaldete und zurückgezogene Stadt beherbergt zahlreiche armenische Künstler, Komponisten und Filmemacher und bietet einige traditionelle armenische Architektur. Die Sharambeyan-Straße im Zentrum ist als "Altstadt" mit Handwerksbetrieben, einer Galerie und einem Museum erhalten geblieben. Wandern, Mountainbiken und Picknicken sind beliebte Freizeitaktivitäten.
Haghartsin ist ein Kloster aus dem 13. Jahrhundert in der Nähe der Stadt Dilijan in der armenischen Provinz Tavush. Es wurde zwischen dem 10. und 13. Jahrhundert gebaut (im 12. unter Chatschatur von Taron); vieles davon unter der Schirmherrschaft der Bagratuni-Dynastie. Das Kloster Haghartsin könnte zusammen mit dem von Goshavank Teil einer Naturstätte werden, die auf dem staatlich geschützten Gebiet des Dilijan-Nationalparks, einem wichtigen Wald im Nordosten Armeniens, basiert. Das Haghartsin-Kloster wurde vom Armenia Fund mit der Spende von SH Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi, dem Herrscher von Sharjah, umfassend renoviert.

Our first guided tour and the best. I storngly recommend Gira Travels to all visiting Armenia or Georgia. We had done 6 day 5 night tour to Georgia with our wonderful guide Arman. We covered most of Georgia and are more than happy with the trip. As we travelled with a one year old this trip was more than gratifying..thanks to Gira Travels. What I liked about them is they are very understanding and you can provide an itinerary that suits your requiremnt.( Not many travel operators do that) Very accomodative in that regard. They give you enough time to see and enjoy the place. Above all they are quite reasonable. We were also able to do paragliding and it was a subliminal experience. Had so much fun going to the Tzaghkadzor Ropeway and experiencing snow. Mr. Arman was our guide for the day and he’s really kind and knows a lot about Armenian history and culture. I really learned a lot from him. He was also very supportive in taking photos and he speaks English really well. He even took us to a secret place not listed in the itinerary! I would recommend booking tours in Gira since we got our money’s worth. Can’t wait to go back!
