We did a 2 day private tour with Francisco of Badger Tours. Sintra and Evora. It was Amazing from start to finish. The knowledge of historical insights exceeded our expectations. Francisco is reliable, showed up on time (early), professional and very polite. Badger Tours was accommodating to our groups pace and flexible in the itinerary when we wanted to take extra pictures at various lookouts. The booking process was smooth, we even had to reschedule one of the days due to our flight cancellations and he worked with another group in order to help us all. The vehicle used was comfortable, clean and had great air-conditioning. We’d give Francisco and Badger Tours 6 Stars out of 5.
This was by far the best private tours we have had on any family vacation. Francesco was very courteous and knowledgeable about Lisbon and Portugals history! Highly recommend it!

Francisco loves his job and you can see it in the tour, from the eyes of local, love the country and it’s people. The Badger were super helpful, very communicative and tried their best to make our stay perfect! We will come back to Sesimbra and use their services 🤩

This trip was my second time in Portugal, but I was there for business rather than pleasure this time around. I arrived a few days before my meetings started, and Francisco organized a full day of site seeing for me. The castles were impressive, the views were unmatched, and Francisco's knowledge, charm, and personable touch made all the difference. He was very accommodating and took all of the photos I wanted. Whenever I visit Portugal again, Francisco will be my go-to person to hire and continue experiencing this beautiful country.

FANTASTIC! What a great day in Lisbon / Sintra that Francisco arranged for us. Having only a day stop during our trans Atlantic cruise, Francisco was in constant contact with us prior to our ship arriving and was waiting for us once we disembarked the cruise ship in Lisbon. A quick tour of Lisbon's highlights preceded a full tour of Pena Palace, wonderful cliffside lunch, walking tour of Sintra, costal stops, driving tour of Cascais and return to the ship - A very full day! A great day tour for us in a clean van with a courteous and knowledgeable driver/guide. I highly recommend Badger tours.

Enjoy a wonderful Portuguese experience through the expert eyes of a local. Sesimbra is wonderful "under the radar" destination and Francisco Texuga (Texuga is Portuguese for Badger) is the unofficial mayor. Whatever your interests, be they history, museums, fine dining, vineyards, golf or exploring and whatever your timeframe, we highly recommend Francisco to make it a special experience. Although he is based in Sesimbra he and his team are active in and around greater Lisbon. On this, (our second trip to the area this year) we had a lengthy Cruise Port day in Lisbon. Francisco met us shipside, scooted us ahead ship tour busloads to Palácio Nacional da Pena. From there a terrific afternoon exploring multiple points of interest in Sintra area. Make sure to include a traditional lunch and leave it to Francisco choose. You won't be disappointed. Badger's advertising is entirely word of mouth and their 5 star rating is no accident.
