Die Passagiere werden von ihrem Hotel abgeholt und zur Basilika-Kirche gebracht, wo unsere Tour beginnt.
Unser Reiseleiter wird Ihnen von außerhalb der Kirche eine allgemeine Erklärung geben. Anschließend können die Passagiere auf Wunsch die Türme betreten. Die Basilika des Nationalgelübdes ist ein neugotisches Sakralgebäude im historischen Zentrum von Quito. Aufgrund seiner Abmessungen und seines Stils galt er als der größte neugotische Tempel in Amerika und war bis 2017 auch der höchste religiöse Tempel in Lateinamerika. Er befindet sich in der Gegend, die als Santa Prisca bekannt ist, an den Straßen Carchi und Venezuela. neben dem Kloster der Oblaten.
Die Passagiere werden von der Basilika-Kirche zum Unabhängigkeitsplatz gebracht.
Plaza Grande ist der Hauptplatz der Hauptstadt, das politische und historische Zentrum Ecuadors und der symbolische Sitz des Präsidenten Ecuadors. Es ist der Bezugspunkt für die Höhe der Stadt und liegt auf 2818 m über dem Meeresspiegel. N. M. Sein Hauptmerkmal ist das Unabhängigkeitsdenkmal, das den Helden der Unabhängigkeit am 10. August 1809 gewidmet ist, einem Datum, das als erster Schrei der spanisch-amerikanischen Unabhängigkeit in Erinnerung bleibt und in der Mitte steht.
Unser Führer wird Ihnen von außerhalb der Kirche eine allgemeine Erklärung geben und wenn Passagiere dies wünschen, können sie eintreten und ein örtlicher Führer wird ihnen weitere Einzelheiten geben. Das Unternehmen ist eine der größten Touristenattraktionen der Stadt und aufgrund seiner reichen Architektur und Innenverzierung, die vollständig mit Goldblechen bedeckt ist, ein unschätzbares künstlerisches und wirtschaftliches Erbe für das Land.
Wir besuchen die Plaza de San Francisco, den größten Platz im historischen Zentrum von Quito. Er wird von der imposanten Fassade der Kirche und des Klosters von San Francisco dominiert, nach der er benannt ist, und liegt an einem der schönsten Plätze repräsentative städtische Umgebungen der Stadt seit der Kolonialzeit, als ihre zentrale Quelle jahrhundertelang die Bewohner mit Wasser versorgte.

Die Passagiere werden vom historischen Zentrum von Quito nach Panecillo gebracht.
Wir besuchen Panecillo, eine natürliche Erhebung auf 3.000 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel. Aufgrund seiner Lage ist er zum wichtigsten natürlichen Aussichtspunkt der Stadt geworden, von dem aus Sie die städtische Struktur der ecuadorianischen Hauptstadt vom historischen Zentrum bis zum nördlichen und südlichen Ende bewundern können. Das Panecillo wird von einer riesigen Aluminiumskulptur der „Jungfrau von Quito“ gekrönt, die vom Spanier Agustín de la Herrán Matorras geschaffen wurde und auf dem Werk von Bernardo de Legarda, einem der bedeutendsten Vertreter der Schule Quitos, basiert
Die Passagiere werden von Panecillo zum Sitio Intiñan Museum mitten in der Welt transportiert.
Das Intiñan Site Museum bietet einen interaktiven Rundgang für Sie an, bei dem Sie von der Geschichte unserer Vorfahren bis zu den großartigen Wirkungen erfahren, die die Sonne in unserem Solarzylinder erzeugt. Franklin curated a full day trip for 14 of us to enjoy Quito in a day. Even though I organised this day a full 10 months ahead, he took it seriously. He took the trouble to understand my interests and inform me of the nature of the sites and estimate of time required. As requested he provided a very detailed itinerary of sites, times, with flexibility of pre paid & optional entry costs. He included a tasting of local food and drink taking dietary needs into consideration, which was enjoyed by all. He gave us a very interesting synopsis of Ecuador and Quito in particular for the full 45 minutes it took us to reach Mitad del Mundo which was informative & enjoyable. Excellent customer service & efficiency in planning and execution on the day in a comfortable vehicle. His knowledge and historical anecdotes added interest. Frank was recommended to us as a professional guide who could show us around Quito. We contacted him at short notice and he agreed to take us out the following day. He did not disappoint as we spent a wonderful day with him! Frank is a professional guide, who is welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and passionate. His command of English put me to shame! He was also a good/safe driver and had a nice/large/clean vehicle. Frank showed us around the sites of Quito, stopping to explain the history, which made it so much more meaningful. We visited some wonderful churches, historical statues and sites. When it started to rain, he knew where to purchase waterproof ponchos to keep us dry, and where we could shelter and rest until the rain stopped. Frank is professional, pleasant, relaxed, and was happy to answer our questions about Quito, and life in Ecuador. He even organised our return transfer to the airport the following day. Our experience started with airport transfers from Quito airport to The JW Marriott in Quito. Pleasant and lots of information about the city and surrounding area along the way with Wilson. Then next day Franklin shared his passion for Quito with us. His knowledge and passion showed through at each new site and all along the way. We did the 2 day Otovalo experience with an overnight stay in a beautiful historic Hacienda Pinsaqui. Franklin was an amazing guide. He was prompt, informative, knowledgeable and the activities planned were thoughtful and we got to experience some of the real Ecuador. Even when the weather changed and we couldn’t do one of the planned trips, Franklin detoured and we visited the ancient Pyramids at Cochasqui. An amazing historic site. So, If you want authentic, passionate travel in Ecuador then Four Worlds is the way to go.

Franklin is THE best!! He took us to or from the airport 3 times on this trip, and we also did a day tour of Quito with him. He was FANTASTIC! We spent a day in Quito before a trip to Galapagos, and used Franklin and Four Winds as our airport transportation and tour guide in Quito. We had a phenomenal and interesting day with him. Franklin greeted us with a smile, his English is excellent, and he was so friendly and shared so much about his beautiful country with us. We spent a day in Quito at Mitad del Mundo (equator) and Old Town Quito, a UNESCO world heritage site.
