The trip was very good. Saw crocodiles, monkeys, birds in our boat ride ( the water in the river looks very muddy!). Our Guide Manuel was very friendly and knowledgeable. We also saw the pottery making and sugarcane juice extractions - my daughter enjoyed putting the sugarcane in the machine and manually operating it. Also saw iguanas and my daughter loved feeding them. We are vegetarians and they still provided good lunch - rice, beans and vegetables. The only negative thing is that we are still waiting for the pictures which the tour guide took. He said it will be emailed to us! It’s been 2 weeks since our trip and I am still waiting for it! Would appreciate if we can get our photos!
Hello Thank you so much for your review. Our goal is to provide the best service .Thank you so much for trusting in us I am going to send you the picture him took on that day !
This trip was really great! Roger was a terrific guide and we were able to see a wide variety of wildlife. There were lots of monkeys! Roger also knew a lot of information about the plants of Costa Rica. Lunch was very nice and included a demonstration on crushing sugar cane and how local pottery is made. The boat is easily accessible for all ages and the van was comfy.
Mrs Davies , your words fill our team with honor and happiness because our main objective is to provide you with the best possible experience! Our country as well as our hearts will always be open to you!! Pura vida
We booked through our Hotel. We were fortunate to have “Duck” as our Driver/Guide. Wealth of information start to finish. Saw wildlife on the boat (croc, birds, monkeys). Lunch on the Ranch was delicious. Good for couples and families and elderly.
Muchas gracias por confiar en nosotros. Para nuestro equipo fue un honor el poder mostrarles un poco de Costa Rica . Pura vida
Having traveled all over the world and having many guided tours this has to be one of the best!!! You have to ask for Gabriel. He was just amazing from the minute he picked us up. He gave us fun facts about Costa Rica and our tour was amazing. We saw everything on our bucket list- Howler monkeys, white-faces monkeys, 4 variations of crane, crocodiles- both mature and babies, 2 specifies of Iguana and their breeding grounds, bats and many other birds that were incredible. On the way out of the park Gabriel found a Scarlett Macaw’s nest and we couldn’t believe it! The Macaw was on a low branch and gave us a 10 minute show while she was preening. Lunch was amazing and some of the best chicken I’ve ever had in my life. The cook was kind enough to give me the recipe and instruction on how to cook the famous Guanacanaste chicken.
Thank you so much . It was a honor to have you and your family during this excursion. Our goal is to provide the best service ever to make unforgettable your vacation. Thank you much
This was a wonderful tour (at first was going to be the only tour we took) - a comprehensive and educational tour to Palo Verde park to see wildlife (howler monkeys, crocodiles, many bird species) on a river boat with local guides. Then a visit to a working traditional cattle ranch (a part of Guanacaste’s history) for a Costa Rican lunch & a demo on the traditional pottery locals make. Our tour guide (Duck) was incredibly knowledgable, professional, and importantly fun and cares deeply for his clients. We enjoyed his presence so much we specifically requested him for our second tour (which we decided to take after this tour ended). I highly recommend this company - safe driving, comfortable & clean vehicles & exceptional tour guide. Book it!!
There can be no greater happiness for us than being an ambassador of our culture and biodiversity. Each activity gives us the pleasure of showing a little of so much that this small country has to the world. Thank you so much for to visit our country, tour second home !
This was my first time doing a tour like this, what a great time. I went with my family ages ranging from 11-78, everyone enjoyed themselves. It was perfect way to introduce Costa Rica to the family. We had a boat to ourselves which was such a nice experience. Harold made the tour so enjoyable. We saw monkeys, crocodiles, and beautiful birds. Took amazing photos of Costa Rica’s wildlife. Harold answered everyone’s questions. He even stopped in the way to the river so our kids could see trees full of monkeys. He then taught them how to call to them. When we visit again we will definitely have Harold take us on more tours. Look no further for a guide he is the absolute best!!!
Thank you so much! It was a pleasure to show you just a little of Costa Rica. The most important is your enjoyment!
This was my first time on the river boat tour. It was with my family ages ranging from 11-78. What a perfect half day tour to introduce Costa Rica to the family in a relaxing way. Was able to see monkeys, crocodiles, and many beautiful birds along the river. Harold was a wealth of information about the different species and was able to answer any questions that the kids had. It was a wonderful time! We even stopped along the way to see trees full of monkeys where he taught our sons how to call them. Such a great time! We will definitely have Harold take us to more places when we head back to Costa Rica.
