Wir holen Sie am Ort Ihrer Wahl innerhalb der Stadtgrenzen von Agra ab. Die Tour dauert etwa vier Stunden und mehr; Daher wird ein Start am frühen Morgen empfohlen. Beginnen Sie Ihre Entdeckungsreise durch die historische Stadt Agra mit einem Besuch des beeindruckenden Agra-Forts aus rotem Sandstein, das 1565 n. Chr. von Akbar, dem berühmtesten Herrscher der Mogul-Dynastie, erbaut wurde. Anschließend wurde es von seinen Nachfolgern mit wunderschönen Palästen, Moscheen und Gärten verschönert . Zu den wertvollen Beispielen der Handwerkskunst aus der Mogulzeit zählen die exquisite Moti Masjid oder Perlenmoschee, die Diwan-i-Khas, die Diwan-i-Am, das Jahangir Mahal und das Shish Mahal. Nach dem Verlassen des Agra-Forts können Gäste in einem unserer empfohlenen Restaurants oder an einem beliebigen Ort ihrer Wahl zu Mittag essen. Am Nachmittag besuchen Sie das prächtige Taj Mahal, ein makelloses Mausoleum aus weißem Marmor, das Kaiser Shah Jahan zum Gedenken an seine Frau Mumtaz Mahal erbaut hat. Als eines der sieben Weltwunder waren für den Bau des Taj 20.000 Handwerker nötig.

Bei Ihrer Ankunft führt Sie unser Begleiter zu Ihrem ersten Halt, dem Taj Mahal. Dieses Wunder wurde 1653 n. Chr. von Shah Jahan für seine Frau Mumtaz Mahal erbaut. Der Bau des Taj dauerte 22 Jahre und 22.000 Handwerker. Der weiße Marmor ist in einem Verfahren namens Pietra Dura mit Halbedelsteinen in wunderschönen Mustern eingelegt. Ein Minarett an jeder Ecke des Taj verleiht ihm ein perfekt symmetrisches Aussehen. Das Taj beherbergt in seinem Keller die Kenotaphe von Shah Jahan und Mumtaz Mahal.
Genießen Sie einen Besuch des massiven Agra-Forts aus rotem Sandstein, das 1565 n. Chr. vom berühmten Mogulkaiser Akbar hauptsächlich als militärische Struktur erbaut wurde. Während der Herrschaft von Shah Jahan wurde es in einen Palast umgewandelt. Nach der Machtübernahme seines Sohnes im Jahr 1658 wurde es schließlich zum Gefängnis für Shah Jahan. Die Festung verfügt über zahlreiche Innenhöfe, Privatgemächer und eine Marmormoschee. Vom Agra-Fort aus werden Sie zurück zum gewünschten Abgabepunkt gefahren.

Arif was exceptional, patient, and understanding. We went to visit the taj Mahal at sunrise except that because of the fog and rain we did not see it well. Arif agreed to come back with us in the afternoon completely free of charge and stayed with us for as long as it takes for us to be fully satisfied!! I recommend him fully, as well as the travel agency he works for!!

100% recommended! We were picked up in Delhi and our driver Keshav was as good as any driver can possibly be. He is an excellent, careful driver who navigates with great calm through the crazy Indian traffic. He stayed with us throughout our stay in Agra and Jaipur and thanks to him we got everywhere without hassle or stress. The overall trip was organised by Devender and his team, and we could, as always, 100% rely on them. We have stayed at his Hotel DA BUNGALOW in Agra several times and this too is always a wonderful experience. They pay great attention to detail and the rooms are beautifully decorated and super clean. Everyone is friendly and attentive, and the food is excellent.

The Itinerary was simple and straightforward, everything went smoothly from the beginning to the end. The driver was skilled and knowledgable.
The guided tour of 4 monuments (Itmad-ud-Daula, Mehtab Bagh Garden, Fort & Taj Mahal) and Agra hand-crafted artisanat by tuk tuk with the driver Mr. Dhanpal (not only that bug helped to register for a local SIM) and our living joking library Mr. Suraj Mani Sharma the VIP guide was unique! We had a Sunday tour and a Monday early bird visit of Taj Mahal with insights that were plenty, but not too much for memorizing the most important historical points as well as we got some hindi lessons. The best with our sms guide was that he always encouraged us to ask all questions and took his time for letting me take photographies and he had a lot of interesting methods to do videos and special pics for amazing memories. He made us also discover local drinks for better digesting the spiced delicacies & provided medical aid. We can highly recommend both men for your discovery tour of Agra.
D P Singh - what an excellent, kind and thoughtful driver! He collected us from Agra train station and was our driver for 4 days eventually dropping us at Jaipur station. He was very well presented, would keep an immaculately clean car inside and out, and would always have ice cold water at our disposal. He made our trip - informing and explaining many things in the cities and on the long drives, he massively increased our understanding of Indian culture, he would also regularly make us chuckle with his many amusing stories! He went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and we would recommend his services to everyone!
