Das Taj Mahal 'Krone des Palastes' ist ein Mausoleum aus elfenbeinweißem Marmor am rechten Ufer des Flusses Yamuna in der indischen Stadt Agra. Es wurde 1632 vom Mogulkaiser Shah Jahan (reg. 1628–1658) in Auftrag gegeben, um das Grab seiner Lieblingsfrau Mumtaz Mahal zu beherbergen; Es beherbergt auch das Grab von Shah Jahan selbst. Das Grab ist das Herzstück eines 17 Hektar großen Komplexes, zu dem eine Moschee und ein Gästehaus gehören, und befindet sich in einem formellen Garten, der an drei Seiten von einer zinnenbewehrten Mauer begrenzt wird.
Agra Fort ist eine historische Festung in der Stadt Agra in Indien. Es war die Hauptresidenz der Kaiser der Mogul-Dynastie bis 1638, als die Hauptstadt von Agra nach Delhi verlegt wurde. Es war auch als „Lal-Qila“, „Fort Rouge“ oder „Qila-i-Akbari“ bekannt.

Neither car nor driver showed up on the day. Phone calls were left unanswered even though my card had been charged. Needless to say, our trip was ruined.
