Ein Tagesausflug zum sagenumwobenen Kap der Guten Hoffnung ist ein Muss bei jedem Kapstadt-Aufenthalt. Auf dem Weg dorthin bietet die traumhafte Panoramastraße „Chapman´s Peak“ wundervolle Ausblicke auf die Tafelbucht. Seefahrergeschichten machen die Fahrt kurzweilig. Highlight auf dem Rückweg sind die putzigen Pinguine vom Boulders Beach.

Der fantastische Ausblick vom Signal Hill eignet sich bestens für eine erste Einführung in die Entstehungsgeschichte Kapstadts.
Weiter geht es zu den 12 Aposteln, einer hübschen Anreihung von 12 Bergspitzen, die die Hintergrundkulisse für den exklusiven Strandort Camps Bay bilden. Hier residieren die Reichen und Schönen in sündhaft teuren Villen mit Meerblick.
Die spektakuläre Panoramastraße "Chapman´s Peak Drive" wurde in sieben Jahre langer Arbeit in den Berg gehauen und ermöglicht traumhafte Ausblicke.
Vom Chapman´s Peak Drive aus haben wir einen fantastischen Ausblick auf den weißen, flach abfallenden Strand von Noordhoek. Falls gewünscht, legen wir hier einen Fotostopp ein.
Gegen späten Vormittag erreichen wir den Cape Point-Nationalpark. Tierische Bewohner sind neben Pavianen und Sträußen auch Springböcke und Elands. Ferner bietet der Park Einblick in die Einzigartigkeit der Fynbos-Landschaft.
Zum Leuchtturm, dem Wahrzeichen der Kapspitze, fährt eine urige Seil-Schienen-Bahn, die der „Fliegende Holländer“ genannt wird. Alternativ führt ein 20-minütiger Wanderweg hinauf. Bei gutem Wetter lässt es sich zur Mittagszeit an einem abgelegenen Strand im Nationalpark picknicken. Ein Bistro serviert belegte Sandwiches zum Mitnehmen. Neben der Seilbahn befindet sich alternativ ein ausgezeichnetes Restaurant, das Gäste mit lokalen Spezialitäten verwöhnt – die Meeresfrüchte-Platte mit frischem Hummer ist ein Dauerrenner.
Ein Foto vor dem berühmten Schild, das den südwestlichsten Zipfel Afrikas ausweist, ist unbedingter Bestandteil der Tour.
Wir verlassen den Park und steuern die afrikanischen Pinguine am Boulders Beach an. Die putzigen Tiere verhalten sich oft sehr tollpatschig an Land, sind jedoch Meisterschwimmer und großartige Entertainer.
Auf dem Rückweg liegen die bunten Strandhäusern von St. James, die ebenfalls ein Foto wert sind.
Falls noch Zeit ist, schauen wir bei den Seehunden im Hafen von Kalk Bay vorbei und erfreuen uns an Fischerbooten und Hafenatmosphäre.

We had a wonderful day with Sabine. She picked us up at the cruise terminal. First we went up to Table Mountain and then towards the Cape of Good Hope. With stops at the beach houses of St.James, at Boulders Beach with the penguins. At the cape itself we took the famous photo and took the funicular to the lighthouse with a gigantic view. Over Chapman's Peak we went along the coast to the 12 Apostles and then back to Cape Town. Here we drove another lap through the Bo Kaap neighborhood. Sabine took us safely from place to place and told us a lot about country and people. In the best weather we had a fantastic day in and around Cape Town.

We were traveling with two adults and a 16 year old. Already in advance from Germany, we had a great contact with Sabine, who answered us all questions about the tour very quickly. The tour itself was organized and conducted by Sabine mega. No time pressure, no time stress. No matter what stop we made, we could watch everything in peace and enjoy. Sabine explained a lot on the way (in German😍), but definitely not annoying, as is the case with bus tours. There was definitely no getting out of the car, fast, fast. Just fantastic and indeed unique how this day went with Sabine. Indescribable what we could see on this tour from 09:00 to 18:00. Water on board and yes, even time for a snack was also given. That's all you need. A big compliment to Sabine and people we tell you...... book with Sabine and you will be thrilled.

We had 2 tours with Sabine. Once Cape Town with Table Mountain BO-KAAP, City Park...and much more. (Group) The 2. Tour was to the Cape of Good Hope and the Penguins (private). It was incredibly beautiful and very relaxed. You always felt safe and there was no boredom. Despite sometimes long distances, one could not escape the amazement. Sabine is very social, makes her tours attractive and flexible . You can also express your wishes and here too, a lot is made possible. We had the opportunity to experience two tours with Sabine, we were with her at the Cape of Good Hope as well as in the wine-growing regions. We can recommend both tours without restriction. We really enjoyed the trips with Sabine, she was able to show us the beauty of her adopted country and gave us a lot of information. We will keep these tours in fond memory. Should we ever travel to Cape Town again, we will certainly contact them.

Sabine told us a lot about Cape Town and South Africa during the trip and led us to beautiful spots. It gave us a lot of pleasure to ride with Sabine. Also their specially rented large car was very comfortable for us and made travelling a pleasure. Sabine also responded to spontaneous requests.
