Zach was our tour guide through Viator for a one-day trip to Hiroshima Prefecture and Miyajima Island, and he gave us an absolute 5-star experience. Traveling with a 3-generation family can sometimes be tricky to coordinate, but Zach made the entire day seamless, comfortable, and engaging for all of us. His private van was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable for our group, making transit between locations completely stress-free. Zach was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and thoughtful, balancing the poignant history of Hiroshima with the scenic beauty of Miyajima in a way that resonated with everyone from the grandparents down to the younger family members. If you are planning a family trip to the region, we couldn't recommend Zach and his transportation service more highly!

This tour is perfect day-trip from Kyoto for a small family or group: super-comfortable private transportation on arrival into Hiroshima station, see all of the essential sights but still with a customizable overall itinerary. Request Yoko as your guide and driver. She’s energetic, efficient, knowledgeable, and the ultimate professional. It rained the entire day of our visit but we didn’t miss anything and were safe and comfortable all day thanks to Yoko. A great way to see the sights; you won’t be disappointed.

Yoko was an amazing guide! She took her time to explain the area to us and showed us things we never could have seen anything without the tour. Our favorite was miyojima. Yoko taught us to pray at the shrine and as an outsider we really appreciated what was the culture

It was comprehensive! Our tour guide was wonderful and responsive to our needs. It would have been better if the tour guide spoke a little better English.

Our driver met us at the station with a nice big sign with our name. He was very helpful and considerate and did his best to make our day easy and interesting. We unluckily travelled on a holiday weekend so everywhere was busier than usual but our driver helped us avoid the worst crowds and timed everything perfectly.

We are a group of 8 traveling on a Celebrity Cruise and booking a private tour was one of best decisions and highlight of our sightseeing. Our guide spoke excellent English and the transportation was clean and comfortable. We saw more in one day than we expected along with interesting commentary on the sites. If you are considering booking off of a cruise ship, don’t hesitate!

Excellent tour! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and covered all of the sights that we wanted to see. Touring a city like Hiroshima shows one the horrors of war along with the capability to recover. We need more peace in the world!

Hiroshima Peace.Parknos a nice.memorial, but having come.Nagasaki first - I found the Nagaskai more dramatic in expereimce. The island tour was.nice, and gave me plenty of ideas for a return trip.

Our tour with Nobu Hiyoshi was an unforgettable experience. We started at Miyajima Island, admiring the stunning floating torii gate, strolling through scenic streets, and even meeting the friendly deer that roam freely. Afterward, we enjoyed the best Okonomiyaki for lunch—perfectly layered and full of flavor. In the afternoon, we visited the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, where Nobu’s insights made the history even more impactful. Nobu was an excellent guide—knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate. Highly recommend!
