Fatima ist eines der größten Pilgerzentren der Welt und wurde um den Ort herum errichtet, an dem 1917 die Jungfrau Maria drei Hirten erschien. Nach dem Besuch der Basilika, in der die drei Seher begraben sind, der Erscheinungskapelle und der modernen Dreifaltigkeitskirche haben wir Zeit, um zu beten oder an einer Feier teilzunehmen (optional). Kurz darauf geht die Tour nach Valinhos, dem kleinen Dorf, in dem die drei jungen Hirten geboren wurden, und wir werden ihre Häuser besuchen, um zu sehen, wie die Häuser der Region zu Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts aussahen. Sinta - UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe, ist seit dem 14. Jahrhundert die Sommerresidenz der königlichen Familie. Das Mikroklima von Sintra, in dem Feuchtigkeit herrscht, half der üppigen Vegetation zu gedeihen. Es wurde oft von romantischen Dichtern des 19. Jahrhunderts wie Lord Byron gelobt. Auf dieser Tour haben Sie die Möglichkeit, einen der verschiedenen Paläste von Sintra zu besuchen und die traditionellen Süßigkeiten zu probieren.

Das berühmte Marienheiligtum von Fatima ist ohne Zweifel eines der wichtigsten Pilgerzentren der Welt. Jährlich kommen Millionen von Menschen hierher, um den drei Hirtenkindern zu huldigen, die die Erscheinungen der Jungfrau Maria auf den Feldern von „Cova da Iria“ miterlebt haben. Freizeit zur Teilnahme an der Messe (optional), besuchen Sie die Kapelle der Erscheinungen, wo Sie das Bild der Jungfrau Maria sehen können. Wir werden auch die Basilika besuchen, wo wir die Gräber von Lucia, Jacinta und Francisco finden (die letzten beiden wurden im Mai 2017 von Papst Franziskus heilig gesprochen und sind damit die jüngsten Heiligen der katholischen Kirche). Im weiteren Verlauf besuchen wir die moderne Kirche der Heiligen Dreifaltigkeit von Fatima mit 8.633 Sitzplätzen und einer Fläche von 40.000 Quadratmetern. Die Kirche wurde vom griechischen Architekten Alexandros Tombazis entworfen und projiziert. Zeit für religiöse Einkäufe (optional).
Das Dorf, in dem die drei Hirtenkinder Lucia, Jacinta und Francisco geboren wurden und lebten. Besuchen Sie die Kalksteinhäuser ihrer Familie. Früher war es eine abgelegene und arme Gegend im Inneren Portugals, aber dennoch sehr schön.
Sintra ist ohne Zweifel einer der außergewöhnlichsten Orte in Portugal. Das Mikroklima verwandelt diese kleine Stadt an den Hängen des Gebirges „Serra de Sintra“ neben dem Atlantik in eine Hauptattraktion für Besucher, die dorthin gehen, um die berühmten Schlösser und Paläste zu bewundern oder einfach das traditionelle Essen, Gebäck und Süßigkeiten zu probieren . Und vergessen wir nicht die Souvenirläden, in denen typische lokale Produkte verkauft werden. Wir halten im historischen Zentrum, wo Sie Zeit haben, die berühmten „Travesseiros“ und „Queijadas“ in der Piriquita-Konditorei zu probieren und die engen Gassen der romantischsten Stadt Portugals zu erkunden. Viator communication with us was professional from the time we booked our tour the whole way through.
