Von der Stadt aus fahren wir zu unserem ersten Stopp.
Seljalandsfoss ist einer der berühmtesten Wasserfälle Islands und bekannt für seine Besonderheit, dass man tatsächlich hinter dem Wasserfall hindurchgehen kann. Es liegt im Süden Islands, nicht weit von der Ringstraße entfernt, was es zu einem beliebten Zwischenstopp für Touristen macht, die das Land erkunden.
Gljúfrabúi wird manchmal als „Versteckter Wasserfall“ bezeichnet, da er teilweise in einer engen Schlucht verborgen ist. Um diesen Wasserfall zu erreichen, müssen Sie vom Seljalandsfoss aus ein kurzes Stück laufen und je nach Wasserstand möglicherweise durch einen Bach oder Fluss waten.
Skogafoss ist bekannt für seinen beeindruckenden Fall von etwa 60 Metern (197 Fuß) und einer Breite von etwa 25 Metern (82 Fuß), was ihn zu einem der größten und berühmtesten Wasserfälle des Landes macht.

Es ist bekannt für seine markanten Basaltsäulen, sechseckigen Formationen, die durch abkühlende Lava entstanden sind, und die dramatischen Reynisdrangar-Felsen, die aus dem Meer ragen. Die Wellen können hier stark sein, daher ist bei einem Besuch Vorsicht geboten.
Der Sólheimajökull ist ein Gletscher im Süden Islands und ein Auslassgletscher der größeren Eiskappe Mýrdalsjökull. Es liegt nicht weit von den beliebten Touristenzielen Skógar und Vik entfernt und ist somit ein relativ gut erreichbarer Ort für diejenigen, die die Region erkunden.

Best vacation, after hearing about others experiences I realize I got a truly customized personal tour. I lived his stories and history and his patience with us. We got to go to some areas and try food that many other people miss. I even did a cold plunge with his guidance. I highly recommend

I did the glacier hike with Otto and it was a fantastic, action-packed full day! We also made a couple of stops at some amazing places…one was Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach where scenes from Game of Thrones was filmed. I’m not sure if this was originally part of the tour but on the hike, one of the participants got an injury. Otto saw to her needs with the utmost professionalism and managed our tour so that everyone had a great time. I can’t speak highly enough of Otto…join him for an adventure!

Otto my love ... the last tour i took was one of the best I had taken stunning weather stunning views and more importantly was my man Otto a perfect gentleman and a person who knows it all driving skills exceptional, he knows what he is doing can't thank him enough for saving my life when I almost freaked out on the glacier hiking the way he held my hand and calmed me down helped me enjoy the beauty as well as keeping me sane .. one of the best person for the tour ... Our trip to the south cost was magnificent. The views were stunning and Otto's trip planning was stunning too. He took us through many picturesque landscapes, throughout the downpour and sunshine, from dawn to dusk, and from Keflavik to Vik. Our trip was truly mesmerizing, and OTTO is one of a kind. He talks so heartily and gives out so much valuable Icelandic treasures for information. And his drives are always enjoyable. His perfect mix of pitstops and roads, never make us bored. Furthermore, he knows just where to stop for some food and makes our mouths tremble in the process (especially the black crust pizza place).
