Die Tour beginnt an den Kreuzfahrtschiffen, die im Hafen von Mombasa anlegen, und wir bringen Sie rechtzeitig für die Weiterreise zum Hafen zurück: Fort Jesus Historical Museum, Altstadt, Spaziergang auf dem Markt und Mittagessen in einem Restaurant mit lokalen Gerichten in Mombasa, Mombasa Giant Elephant Tusk denkmal und nachmittags besuch im haller park.

Sie werden vom Hafen abgeholt und zum Fort Jesus gebracht. Dies ist Mombasas ältestes Museum und zeigt die Kultur und den Ursprung der Einheimischen, wobei der Ursprung des Swahili erwähnt wird. Mit einem Führer können Sie das historische Muster nachvollziehen, das zum Einfluss der Sultane führte. Darüber hinaus lernen Sie die Kultur der Einheimischen durch verschiedene Ausstellungen kennen. Sie werden einen Spaziergang durch die engen Gassen der Altstadt von Mombasa genießen, vorbei am berühmten Fischmarkt, bevor Sie zu den Elefantenstoßzähnen als Denkmälern des alten (heute illegalen) Elfenbeinhandels fahren. Danach gehen Sie mit einem Mittagessen auf dem Markt spazieren, um die lokale Küche zu probieren.
Nach dem Mittagessen werden Sie in den Haller Park gebracht. Dies ist kein Zoo, sondern ein freilaufendes Tierschutzgebiet, das aus der Idee heraus entstanden ist, einen großen alten, riesigen ehemaligen Zementsteinbruch zu erhalten. Es gibt viele Tiere zu sehen und je nach Aufregung dauert die Tour zwischen 2 und 3 Stunden, von wo aus Sie zu Ihrem Hotel zurückgebracht werden.
Diese riesigen Stoßzähne aus Aluminium entlang der Moi Avenue wurden zum Gedenken an einen Besuch von Prinzessin Margaret gebaut.

Excellent itinerary but flexible to what you want to do. Our guide Patrick was excellent. Company communication is excellent. Only thing to know is vehicles dont have good leg room and they dont have air-conditioning but ventilation from open roof. We had a very good time.

Tour was in guide's personal car. Bill, driver, was friendly and helpful. Car was small and A/C inadequate for wife's comfort. Young man Guide at Jesus Fort was knowledgeable and helpful. His Dad was a tourguide there 40 years. After this part of our tour, my wife was exhausted and very hot, so we asked Bill to return us to our cruise ship.
