Andrew took us out on well spec’d bikes, taking time to ensure the set up was right for us and safe. A beautiful ride through woods, and vineyards on relatively easy trails. Andrew’s a great guide, very knowledgeable and easy going, all made for a great experience, we’ll be back.

This was such a beautiful bike ride! The route was very scenic. It wasn’t very strenuous, but some sections were difficult to navigate. A beginner rider might find it difficult, but our guide Andy was great. He was very accommodating, helpful, knowledgeable, and a genuinely good guy. Thanks for a great tour, Andy! The location we tasted wine at was also high quality.

Andy was so knowledgable and fun! Excellent recommendations on wineries and the entire experience. We rode bikes for 1.5 hours then visited 2 wineries. One of the best experiences in Cape Town!

We asked for an electric bicycle tour for a whole day. The guide arrived with 2 electric bikes, for my husband and me, and a normal bike for him. The guide couldn't follow. So we stopped after an hour and did some wine tasting. We paid for this 9.200 R !

We had such a lovely time with Jeremy, our guide for the morning. He was made aware that my wife was slightly nervous of cycling but she soon relaxed when he explained what we were about to do and it was tailored to our abilities. We had a lovely morning seeing the many vineyards of Constanta and tasting some memorable wines, with most of the wine drinking saved to the end of the trip. Jeremy was a great guide and very knowledgeable of both the wine, the region and life in SA. We’ll be signing up to another soon.

Jeremy was an excellent guide and helped us have a memorable day biking around the wine regions near Franshhoek and Stellenbosch. Jeremy was extremely knowledgeable about area, the history of the region, the wine making process, as well as the natural surroundings we saw along the way. Our day was completely customized to our preferences and included numerous stops at gorgeous wineries. We strongly recommend the tour with AWOL as they were easy to communicate with and really went out of their way to make our experience an enjoyable and memorable one.

With four children aged between 6 and 14 it can be hard to find an activity to suit everyone. This was a brilliant day. Communication before hand with Sally was excellent and she had bikes of the right size ready for all of us. Two guides came along so we were able to split up and the older children tackle some harder riding. The food and wine at the wineries was delicious and both guides were really great - encouraging, full of info and willing to learn to play Uno! We learnt lots about South Africa and it's culture while enjoying some great cycling in a beautiful place. We would encourage anyone to take this tour!

Brilliant, fun and friendly ride out around the district plus a visit to the fantastic bike park. Me and my two boys (ages 12, 9 and 48) had a wonderful time. Sally was a great guide - very knowledgable bike wise and local culture wise. She assessed our needs/abilities and tailored our ride to suit. 10/10

We started out in a table mountain tour with Awol and had decided to try electric bikes at an extra cost. Sadly one of the bikes had a glitch and did not start which made the whole ride worse since we parked way to far down, considering we hade the electric bikes;-) But now to the great part, Awol did above and beyond to fix this for us! Offering new tour time at no charge, fixing new e-bikes and letting us chose a time and a place for our next trip. We ended up having an amazing ride in Constantia and could not recommend Awol more! If you can muster the extra charge for electric e-bikes its an amazing ride!
