Absolutely fantastic tour by Xavier! We saw so many things and packed in a full day of sightseeing. We loved the cable car up to the volcano and the equator musuem. Xavier spoke perfect English and explained so much.
Thank you, Denise! 😊 Our Quito city tour is designed to show the best of the city in a single day, and we’re glad you enjoyed highlights like the cable car and the equator museum. It’s great to know that Xavier made a difference in your experience with his guidance and attention throughout the day. We’d love to welcome you again for more unforgettable moments in Ecuador! 🇪🇨
We had a great day with Diego. We visited the old town, went up in the cable car and went to the equator. We learnt heaps and felt safe at all times. A great day out.
We had a fabulous day on a private tour of Quito and the surrounding area, coordinated by Alex Manzaba. Alex was terrific with adjusting the schedule to fit best with the ever-changing weather in Quito. He flexed to get in as much as possible with the pending rain, and made great suggestions that were “off the beaten path.” He accommodated all of our requests (for example, we didn’t want a long lunch, we wanted to see the city) and was knowledgeable and passionate about his home town. It was an absolutely perfect day in Quito!
Dear customer, thank you so much for your lovely review. We are glad to know you had a great experience despite the ever-changing weather. Hope you can come for another adventure with us! Best regards!
An action-packed trip that kept us moving! Toured the old part of the city, stopped for a bite at a cafe and people-watched on the Grande plaza, went on a tour of a chocolate maker, saw the angel statue, and went to the REAL equator! At the equator, we did science experiments and saw real shrunken heads. Don't forget to get your passport stamped at 0 degrees longitude and latitude!
I had poked around Quito's old town on my own for a couple of days but wanted to learn more and to visit El Panecillo. The Mitad del Mundo was not something high on my list of must-sees, but I figured why not. It ended up being a fantastic day. Raul was an excellent guide: friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. It was just the two of us in town, and we had a really nice morning seeing the sights. We then met up with a couple for the Mitad del Mundo portion of the tour in the afternoon. I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. The drive there was interesting, and the equator complex was fun -- and kitschy only in the best possible way. My heart went out to the owners of all the shops and restaurants, since tourists were fairly thin on the ground. I decided to go on a tour to Cotopaxi with this same tour company, and Diego showed me and the other guest a great time there. Quito and Ecuador are amazing places to visit.
Dear customer, thank you so much for your nice review. We are happy to know you had a great experience visiting Quito and Cotopaxi. Hope to see you soon again, we will make sure you have an amazing time!
We did three things around Quito - the cable car up to the cloud forest, the middle of the world and then old town. Great experience.
Dear customer, thank you so much for your nice review, we appreciate it as other people will know about our services. We are happy to know you had a great time! Hope to see you soon again, we will make sure you have an amazing time!
Great way to see Quito highlights and the Equator. Our guide Oscar was fabulous. Knowledgeable. Sensitive to our needs. Not rushed
Although our guide Diego was very nice, the tour operator arrange this tour in unfair way as they put together people from 3 different tour. So the skip some part of our tour (no enough time as we have to see other things that were not supposed to be included in our tour) and we have to spend more money to visit sites that were not included in our tour (alternatively we should just wait outside and lost our time doing nothing). Viator should choose better the tour operator, if I reserve a tour I want to visit all the place that are supposed to be seen and no pay for extra sight that are included in other tour, this is a cheating!!! Avoid this tour operator.
This tour provides a nice combination of getting right out of the city to the Monument and surroundings, as well as a walking tour of the old city. The museum showing all the scientific facts of what it means to be at the centre of the earth is fascinating and fun - including hands on experiments ! and is well worth the visit. The old town is very interesting, the interiors of the two main churches unbelieveable - I’ve never seen so much gold and incredible altar decoration outside of Rome. A lunch stop in a lovely old two storey courtyard setting with various options topped it all off nicely, including a very knowledgeable and attentive guide. This trip recommended - thank you !
Thanks for your review Alex, Our Quito tour was created to give you different experiences and let you know the most interesting secrets of the city. We are glad that you have enjoyed it. A hug,
I shared the tour with one other person - another lone female traveler. Our tour guide was Ximena and she was lovely — knowledgeable, friendly and such a wonderful person to introduce us to Quito. The tour was at least 9 hours (perhaps slightly longer) and she was enthusiastic about making sure we didn’t miss anything (even buying and sharing sweet mango pieces and treating us to coladas). She was also a careful driver and very attentive to our needs. I really enjoyed our conversations as much as all the sites - we saw all the sites listed on the itinerary but we weren’t rushed - Ximena took time to make sure we got the full experience at every location. Highly recommended!!!! This tour is especially nice if you have limited time in Quito and want to get a good introduction to the city and the immediate area.
Thank you very much for your review Amanda, as you experienced it our tour lasts around 9 hours and is just thought so you can appreciate the most attractive secrets of Quito and its history. We hope you have really enjoyed the mango and the coladas and we hope to travel with you again. Hugs,
