Während dieser Tour sehen Sie 3 verschiedene, wunderschön gefärbte Berge. Auf dem Weg dorthin können Sie Alpakas und Lamas in ihrem natürlichen Lebensraum sehen und anschließend eine Kolonialbrücke besuchen. Dies ist einer der wenigen Orte auf der Welt, der diese Landschaft mit atemberaubenden bunten Bergen bietet. Die Mindestteilnehmerzahl für diese private Tour beträgt 2 Personen.

Wir holen Sie gegen 5:30 Uhr früh von Ihrem Hotel in Cusco ab. Die Fahrt nach Palccoyo dauert ungefähr 3,5 Stunden, bis wir den ersten Halt in Combapata machen. Wenn wir den Palccoyo-Pass erreichen, gehen wir etwa 40-50 Minuten bergauf (5000 m/16.400 ft). Hier haben Sie einen spektakulären Panoramablick auf drei Rainbow Mountain Palccoyo-Gipfel sowie den höchsten Berg in der Region Cusco (Ausangate). Wir werden ungefähr eine Stunde hier verbringen, um Fotos zu machen und die atemberaubende Aussicht zu genießen. Danach machen wir uns auf den Weg zurück zu unserem privaten Transportmittel, um nach Checacupe zu fahren, wo wir die atemberaubende Kolonialbrücke besuchen (wir werden etwa 20 Minuten hier verbringen, um Fotos zu machen und die Gegend zu erkunden). Danach haben wir Zeit, ein köstliches Mittagessen zu genießen, das von Einheimischen zubereitet wird. Wir nehmen dann unseren privaten Transport zurück nach Cusco (ca. 2,5 Stunden Fahrt). Wir werden gegen 17:00 Uhr zurück in Cusco sein und Sie zu Ihrem Hotel bringen.
Es ist wichtig zu erwähnen, dass die Route nach Palccoyo neu ist, da es sich um eine relativ neue Attraktion handelt. Daher können die Straßen für etwa eine Stunde pro Strecke sehr holprig sein, da die Regierung sie noch nicht gepflastert hat.

It was a 3 hour drive one way, pick up at 6.30 am and then a hike from 15,600 to 16,000 feet. The rock formations and views were totally worth it! The guide carried oxygen if we needed it. We took a private tour which I recommend because of the long drive. We had about 1.5 hours to walk and then started the return. We stopped for lunch after 1.5 hours and then were returned to our hotel at around 5pm. The trail was not at all crowded and is a mild climb to the vista point. One just needs to go slowly! This mountain has only been visited for a couple years as it was covered by glaciers.

Wow what a place! One of those pinch me moments when you see the beautiful mountains in all their glory. It was a wonderful view. After passing the Palocoyo gate, we drive through the area where many alpacas are grazing. It was a lot of alpacas - marron, black, white. Then get out of the car and start walking. There are two observatories, the first of which is a mountain of red soil. And finally we see a mountain shining in rainbow colours. You can also see the Andean snow mountains there and feel solemn. The staff lent me a walking stick, so I could climb easily. I'd like to say that, but the air is thin. I climbed slowly and steadily, hawing. It got harder and harder to breathe, but they took me to the top. If you are in private, you can climb at your own pace, so it is good! After that we had lunch and finished. I spend a lot of time in the car. Furthermore, it is a private tour, so it is expensive, but I felt it was well worth it. I asked for an English guide. The guides and drivers were very kind! I recommend it.

We visited the Paccoyo with the whole family, including two children and had a great time. It is a medium long but comfortable journey in the vehicle. We took our time with the guide and even with the kids it went well. Thank you to Into Peru for your help before and during the tour. Highly recommended everything!

We had an espectacular trip to the rainbow mountain of palcoyo with Into Peru. The driver and guide were great and it was a seamless booking experience. They turned up on time and dropped us off at the door of our hotel. The day trip was great and the mountains are beautiful and so quiet compared to any tourist attraction I’ve been to before. Wow what a trip! We took our two teenagers and despite the long drive to our surprise even they enjoyed it! It was well organised and it was a lovely place to visit, it feels like being on another planet. The food on the way back was great too. We were picked up from our hotel and dropped off at the door.
