Wieder einmal zeigt uns die Natur der Stadt Cusco eine weitere beeindruckende natürliche Attraktion "Das Regenbogengebirge von Palccoyo", wo wir die Schönheit und Farbe der Region genießen werden. Ebenso können wir die Vielfalt der Flora und Fauna schätzen, die uns diese Schönheit zeigt Platz. Diese Attraktion ist relativ neu und viele Menschen in der Region wussten nichts über dieses Palccoyo-Regenbogengebirge, da es zuvor von Schnee bedeckt war, der seine Färbung nicht erkennen ließ. Aufgrund der globalen Erwärmung ist der Schnee jedoch verschwunden und mit unserem neuen Ausflug ist es nun möglich, die Palccoyo Rainbow Range (Combapata) zu besuchen.
Bei der Ankunft in Checacupe werden wir den Entwicklungsprozess des Straßennetzes durch drei Kolonialbrücken beobachten, die sich in derselben Stadt wie Checacupe befinden: Inka-Brücke, Kolonialbrücke und Republikanische Brücke. Sie können auch einen Kolonialtempel mit feinen Schnitzarbeiten aus Holz sehen. Blattgold und das beherbergt die Gemälde der Cusco-Schule (Diego Quispe). Sobald der Besuch dieses archäologischen Zentrums abgeschlossen ist, fahren wir zum Regenbogengebirge von Palccoyo, das sich auf 4.900 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel befindet.
Sobald wir an diesem Punkt angekommen sind, beginnen wir unseren ca. 40-minütigen Spaziergang. Wo wir die Täler erodierter Gletscher und die permischen Formationen von leuchtenden Farben schätzen werden, die sich von den anderen abheben und von Alpakas und Lamas bewohnt werden. Wir können auch einige Gemeinden und Bauern schätzen, die in den niedrigen Gebieten des Regenbogengebirges von Palccoyo leben. Wir werden auch den Steinwald von Ccacca Loma und den roten Berg schätzen. Wir setzen unsere Tour durch das Regenbogengebirge von Palccoyo fort und fahren nach San Pedro, um ein köstliches Mittagsbuffet zu genießen. We visited Mount Palccoyo and found a great alternative to Vinicunca. The trail is lighter, the colorful landscapes are beautiful and there are fewer people, which left the experience more peaceful and photogenic. We went in December and it was snow, but still it was beautiful. We recommend for those who want the view of the colorful mountains without the exhausting walk.

The tour starts very early type 3-4 am, how good you can sleep on the way, we breakfast in a very good buffet and then depart for the mountain. Here the height is the problem, you can walk up but it requires a lot of condition, the good thing is that there are horses that you can pay and for 90 suns they leave you 15-20 minutes from the top. Wear layered clothes as you can warm up when climbing. We already walk down and the road is much easier. On horseback you go up in 40 minutes, you are on the mountain an hour to take pictures and the return is about 1 hour or so. In the end we still had lunch in the same very rich buffet!
The experience was extraordinary. We booked for 12 people all tours with this agency and it was extraordinary from start to finish. On this particular tour of the colorful mountain, our driver was Ephraim and our guide Erick and we could not have had better people on this trip. They were extraordinary, we laughed a lot and Erick was always patient with us at all times. Not only do we recommend the Enterprise, but we also recommend Erick as a tour guide.

The rainbow mountains covered with snow for a few days, before we got there. The guide didn’t mention anything when we left early in the morning so we could not see anything.

What can we say about our experience in Peru? We can say it was fantastic, we learned much more than landscapes, history, culture and a lot of love for the profession. Our Guide Alex made us cry on the day of departure, as he is our main longing for Peru, through his eyes and knowledge we gained 1,000 years of studies and learned a little more about Inca culture. He presented us with Snow, something none of us imagined we would see. It was exciting. If you go to Peru, hire Machu Picchu Tours, and ask Alex as a Guide and Mr. Fernando as a Driver and of course the boy Giovani to take your photos.
