This was, without a doubt, the highlight of our trip to Georgia. Aka is a brilliant tour guide - extremely knowledgeable and able to answer all of my boyfriend’s many, many questions... The tour is very well organised, with short drives between each stop and plenty of time to explore and absorb the culture and history at each location. One of our favourite moments was stopping for bread at a local bakery, where three locals joined us, offering extra food and a shot of chacha. It felt like a truly authentic experience - one we’ll remember for a long time. The wineries themselves were excellent, with the opportunity to try both European and traditional Georgian styles. The Georgian-style winery was our favourite - the PetNat was amazing! Beka, who runs the winery, is a big personality: funny, knowledgeable, and incredibly engaging. His mother prepared the best meal we’ve had so far - we could easily have spent hours sitting with Aka and Beka, chatting about everything from wine to cars, rugby, and politics. We’re already planning our next trip back and thinking about how we can spread the word and bring this wine to the UK!
Thank you very much Megan. Hope to host you someday soon.
Wonderful tour ... our guide Aka was amazing and very knowledgeable, he told us so many great stories about Georgia. The private wine tasting organised by Aka was the highlight of our day. Tour not too be missed.
Thank you for your positive words.
We enjoyed our full day food and wine tour with our tourguide Ako. He is a well educated guide who makes it easy to get an overall insight of the history of Georgian culture. The Wine tastings, cheese tasting, traditional bread baking, makes a very nice setting.
I'm glad you enjoyed the tour with me.
My wif.e and I did a 4 day tour with Akaki and he was awesome. Picked us up from the Armenia border, did a walking tour of Tbilisi, suggested a great traditional restaurant for dinner, then took us to Telavi for wine tastings, then Sighnaghi for a night and back to Tbilisi after a tour of Mshteka and Chronicles of Georgia. Akaki was professional, friendly and full of stories and interesting anecdotes. He is a super smart guy - originally an accountant/finance guy but chose to become a tour guide because he loves interacting with people and learning ...so it was fun to chat with him. Highly recommend ! 👌
Thank you very much Sumit! It was nice to host you and your wife in Georgia.
Our tour with Aka was absolutely amazing! He’s not just a tour guide - he’s a truly inspiring, educated, and fascinating person who makes you fall in love with Georgia through his stories, knowledge, and warm personality. The tour itself was beautifully balanced - not too intense, just the right pace to enjoy every moment. The wine tasting was wonderful, but the highlight was definitely visiting a local family vineyard, where we experienced the most authentic and delicious Georgian meal we’ve ever had. If you’re looking for the best way to discover Georgia, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Aka. You’ll get more than a tour - you’ll get memories for a lifetime. 🇬🇪🍷❤️
Thank you very much Yana!
Aka is an exceptional tour guide. He provided myself and my fiancée with an incredible tour. From pickup and throughout the entire day, it was a fantastic day. Aside from this, he is just a really nice, decent guy and we really enjoyed his company. Thanks again!
Thank you very much Diarmuid!
This trip was the highlight of our travel in Georgia. Aka was a true Georgian culture ambassador. He can reply any questions, language, geography, history, food, even current protests. His car was very comfortable, he also provided car seat for our 4 year old son. But the biggest show of the tour is the local vineyard. The owners showed a true hospitality. Not only they explain how they make this "Qvevri" wine, they also prepare a fantastic lunch. They were the most delicious meals and wines we had in Georgia. Our son played with the owners' son, I think he might have enjoyed it more than us :) During the driving, Aka introduced his culture and we had a really enjoyable chat. Driving part was really not boring. KTW part was less impressive after the first vineyard. But they had a wider selection of grapes, including famous khvanchkara. Definitely reccommended, you will not regret.
Thank you very much Onur!

I had such a wonderful day with Akaki. I didn't realize that I had booked a PRIVATE Kakheti Tour because it does cost more than those group tours, but at the end of the day, it was all worth it. Akaki is so knowledgeable and ensured that I had a great time sightseeing, learning, and tasting my way through the Kakheti wine region near Tsibilisi. The monastery is absolutely stunning and worth a trip. I would have spent all day there if I could have! The wines on the tour were absolutely delicious and the price point cannot be beat. Georgian wines are underrated - I think much better than the overpriced bottles from other European nations. My only regret is not having an entire checked luggage bag just for multiple cases of wine. Go prepared - get ready to buy a couple of cases. You won't regret it! My favorite meal of my trip to Georgia was at a small family winery. I only wish I could have eaten more and taken it to go. Made the entire private tour worth it just because of that meal. Akaki will make sure you (and your friends and family) will have an amazing time. Don't hesitate - book this tour now!
Thank you very much Diana!
We had an absolutely brilliant day on this wine tour. We got picked up from our hotel by Alex, who was a great tour guide and really enjoyable company all day. The conversation flowed and it felt like we were with an old friend (who was very knowledgeable on Georgia and wine!). He stopped off on the way and treated us to some fresh bread and cheese for breakfast which was a lovely way to start the day. We tried at least 8 different Georgian wines, from sweet to dry as well as an amazing homemade lunch at the family winery. It was faultless! The shot of Cha Cha at the end was a nice surprise too! We also had the pleasure of meeting Akaki at the lunch and he was great company and very personable! I'd highly recommend this tour if you're in Georgia, it was our favourite day of the whole trip! You'd be missing out if you don't book this.
Thank you very much Zara!
