Gökay was quite possibly the best city guide I’ve ever worked with. He knew the Bazaar, the people there and how to best negotiate, all while regaling us with history of the city, the Empire, and its leaders. Truly, we got way more value than we could have imagined.

Gökay is a great guide, and was very knowledgeable and patient with us. The Bazaar was a great experience and all of the vendors we met were very friendly. I highly recommend this tour.

Gokay was amazing. He knowledge of the market was really extraordinary. Every shop we went to was extremely personalized and tailored to our needs. Every vendor we spoke to with him was highly respectful and very friendly and welcoming. We were fortunate enough to have lunch with one of the store owners as well. I would highly reckoned using Gokay if you want to have an amazing experience at the market.

We came to istanbul for the first time as family and I must say he was the best guide we have ever had!! We travel the world and get so many guides but he was beyond the expectations. He curated the tour just for us privately in accordance with our needs. My wife got great gold jewelery, children loved the turkish delights and we bought 3 rugs for our new home which came by shipment and we got such a great deal with his bargaining skills and network. The sellers were so friendly and helpful. Without him we would be so lost in the bazaar, he is a real expert here unlike anh other random guide. Hire him with no hesitation!!

We wanted to visit the Grand Bazaar with a local guide to experience it without the overwhelm and are so happy we decided to book this! Sevval was warm, kind, knowledgeable and couldn’t have tried any harder to make our experience fun, easy and enjoyable. She took us to shops with great quality items where we were treated really well. We honestly felt like we were among friends throughout - with Sevval and the shop owners we met. The hospitality in the shops was so warm and welcoming - lots of tea, lemonade a sweet treats. We loved that we were asked in advance what we wanted to see so the time there was spent in a focused way. Highly recommend this tour. Great communication in advance about where and when to meet. Highlight of our Istanbul trip!

I can only recommend this trip. The guide Gokay was extremely helpful - from asking in advance what to focus on - to the day itself. We were in a lot of exciting shops and Gokay helped negotiate great prices. I only have good things to say about the experience.

Karya was wonderful and really listened to what I was looking for. She took us to some great shops that I’m sure we couldn’t have found on our own. We were able to get the items we wanted at prices we were happy with, and she helped to translate and negotiate for us. The Grand Bazaar is beautiful but extremely overwhelming— my husband and I agreed that we wouldn’t have wanted to navigate it without her. I’m glad we did the tour.

guide did not show, we got a text later asking us to follow up for meeting location. since she had already sent location we did not worry. Internatl location, text was not working well

I would any time recommend this trip - especially with the guide Gokay. He knows everything there is to know about the bazaar and was so kind and helpful - with everything, also with getting good prices in the shops. I will definitely book this trip again the next time I visit Istanbul.
