Wir beginnen unsere Tour am Morgen und besuchen den Strand von Myrtos, der für sein kristallklares Wasser, die strahlende Sonne und die herrliche Aussicht von oben bekannt ist. Wir stellen Ihnen kostenlos Strandtücher zur Verfügung. Unser nächstes Ziel ist die wunderschöne Höhle der Nymphe Melissani und des antiken griechischen Gottes Pan. Die Melissani-Seegrotte gibt es auf Kefalonia schon seit Urzeiten; erstmals wurde sie 1951 erkundet. Ein Erdbeben hat eine Öffnung im Dach der Seehöhle geschaffen, durch die nur wenig Sonnenlicht eindringen kann und so ein außergewöhnliches Schauspiel aus blauem und türkisfarbenem Wasser entsteht. Wir werden mit dem Boot das Innere der Seehöhle erkunden und dabei auch die kleine Insel sehen, auf der unsere Vorfahren Zeremonien zu Ehren des Gottes Panas und der Nymphen abhielten. Auf dem Rückweg können wir in Agia Efimia, einem malerischen Fischerdorf, zum Mittagessen Halt machen und dann voller schöner Erinnerungen nach Argostoli zurückkehren.

Der Strand von Myrtos, der schönste Strand der Insel und einer der schönsten Strände Europas, mit schneeweißem Sand – ein Paradies auf Erden –, wird von hohen Felsen geschützt, während das Meer eine atemberaubende Farbpalette von Blaugrün bis hin zu tiefem Blau bietet. Von Assos sind es etwa 20 Minuten Fahrt bis zum Strand von Myrtos.
Der Melissani-See ist ein wunderschöner unterirdischer See mit beeindruckenden Stalaktiten, an dem in der Antike eine Art Gottesverehrung zu Ehren des Gottes Pan stattfand. Wenn die Sonnenstrahlen darauf fallen, spiegeln sich herrliche Farben auf dem Wasser des Sees. Die Fahrt zur Melissani-Höhle dauert etwa 50 Minuten, und die Besichtigung dauert 30 Minuten.
Der Strand von Antisamos, der berühmte Strand aus dem Film „Corellis Mandoline“, der den Zauber der Landschaft von Kefalonia offenbart. Die Route fasziniert die Besucher, denn wir durchqueren einen der grünsten Teile der Insel mit hoch aufragenden Kiefern. Wir werden an einem geeigneten Ort anhalten, um ein paar Fotos zu machen. Der Strand besteht aus Kieselsteinen und weißem Sand und ist von grünen Hügeln umgeben. Das Wasser am Strand ist azurblau und kristallklar. Am Strand gibt es eine Snackbar, Liegestühle, Sonnenschirme und Wassersportangebote. Stets mit der Blauen Flagge ausgezeichnet.
Die Drogaratti-Höhle, eine der größten und schönsten Natursehenswürdigkeiten in der Nähe von Sami. Archäologen zufolge ist die Drogorati-Höhle über 100 Millionen Jahre alt. Die Höhle ist etwa 60 Meter tief, hat eine durchschnittliche Temperatur von 18 °C und eine relativ hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit (90 %). Die Fahrt vom Melisani-See zur Drogarati-Höhle dauert etwa 15 Minuten, und die Besichtigung der Sehenswürdigkeit nimmt 30 Minuten in Anspruch.

We had a wonderful day on our tour of the sights of Kefalonia with Konstantine. We enjoyed every place we went, and Konstantine provided interesting insights and fun along the way, and tailored the day to suit our tastes. The car was super comfortable - air conditioning, towels and water were provided on route. We would highly recommend.

The locations we visited were fantastic. Underground caves with lakes and stalactites. The views were unmatched. Not only did our guide Costas educate us on so many facts about the destinations, island and culture but he also knew the best photo opportunities for the group. He also knew when things would be less crowded. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in learning more about Kefalonia while also enjoying the beach and seeing some really fascinating sites.

There were only four of us, which allowed us to see a lot and explore the island individually. Our guide, Konstantinos, put in a lot of effort to tell us everything about his island. He coordinated the route excellently, so we were not traveling with many people anywhere. His knowledge is very diverse; he not only gave us tips on the best olive oil but also shared a lot about nature and life on Kefalonia.

We joined the tour on June 2 and had a wonderful experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable about Kefalonia and took us to all the beaches we wanted to visit. Pentani Beach was especially breathtaking and left a lasting impression on us. As English is not our first language, we really appreciated how patiently and clearly the guide explained everything. He always took the time to answer our questions and made sure we understood, which meant a lot to us. Another highlight was meeting the local guide. He shared many recommendations for local food and beautiful places to visit, and told us a lot about the history and culture of Kefalonia. Thanks to him, we learned so much more about the island than we expected. This tour gave us not only amazing memories and stunning views, but also a deeper understanding of Kefalonia and its people. It was truly one of the best parts of our trip!
Absolutely incredible experience! We were welcomed by Konstantinos with cold water and the whole journey was filled with really interesting facts about the island itself and its history. He took us to some incredible viewpoints which we would have never found had we not taken this trip. We saw so many amazing views from beaches to caves and ended the day with an amazing wine tasting experience. This trip has made us want to come back again and stay in a new part of the island.
