Der Fahrer holt Sie von jedem Ort oder Flughafen in Varanasi ab und fährt Sie in Richtung Sarnath City.
Dies ist Ihre erste Station in Sarnath. Es ist eine massive Stupa, die als vorbuddhistische Tumuli entstanden ist, in denen Asketen in sitzender Position begraben wurden, genannt Chaitya.
Die nächste Station wird eine weitere buddhistische Stupa sein. Diese Stupas haben sich aus Grabhügeln entwickelt und dienen als Schrein für ein Relikt des Buddha.
Diese Stadt beherbergt eine große Anzahl buddhistischer Tempel aus dem 20. Jahrhundert, die von tibetischen, chinesischen und japanischen Mönchen erbaut und unterhalten wurden. Und Terrakotten, dekorierte gebackene Ziegel und Töpfe, Bilder von Jain Tirthankaras Parshvanatha und Vimalanatha usw.
