Thingvellir National Park, in dem das isländische Parlament vor über 1000 Jahren gegründet wurde. In Thingvellir werden Sie sehen, wie sich die Erde entlang der nordamerikanischen und eurasischen tektonischen Platten so langsam auflöst, und Sie werden in der Lage sein, dort zu stehen, wo die Wikingersiedler vor Jahrhunderten standen, um nationale Gesetze zu erlassen.
Geothermisches Gebiet der Geysire in Haukadalur, wo Sie Geysire, heiße Quellen, Dampfquellen und unheimliche Blaualgen sehen können. Strokkur ist einer der größten und mächtigsten Geysire und bricht fast alle 5 Minuten aus.
Der Gullfoss-Wasserfall, den viele als die Königin der isländischen Wasserfälle betrachten, ist sowohl hoch als auch mächtig und stolpert dramatisch in einer tiefen Schlucht.
Die Fahrt führt Sie in das Hochland, in unwegsames Gelände und in das Gletschergebiet von Langjökull (isländisch für "langer Gletscher"), das als zweitgrößte Eiskappe Islands (953 km2) bekannt ist. Sie werden die Landschaft von Ihrem Superjeep aus genießen und gelegentlich die nächsten unglaublichen Sehenswürdigkeiten anhalten.

This was a once in a lifetime experience— it was such a great day. The tour has stops throughout the day that are beautiful and different from one another so we really felt like we got so many different experiences. The drive on the glacier was the highlight of our trip. Our guide was great! He answered all of our questions and had a wealth of knowledge.
Nick took us on a tour of the Golden Circle. A perfect day visiting a glacier, several amazing waterfalls and geologic plates, among other sites. He took his time and explained everything we saw. Highly recommended!
Nick was our guide for this one. The knowledge and information that he gave us was absolutely fabulous, you could tell he loved the scenery and climate as his interest of the landscape shone through. My husband has a terminal illness with limited mobility and Nick did everything he possibly could to make sure we saw as much of the sights as possible. He was on hand to help Darren in and out of the jeep and also helped with the wheelchair when the conditions were difficult to push it. He adjusted the tour to make sure we had the best possible experience as we were unable to walk to some of the sights. Would definitely recommend this experience to anyone. I can only recommend the tour to everyone. We booked the private tour and were picked up from home. Then the tour went south in the "Off-Road" Super Jeep (Defender) first, passing impressive waterfalls. Our guide Halli explained a lot about the nature and culture of Icelanders along the way and gave us a wonderful trip. Then we went inland, where we crossed rivers, climbed through cave crevices with hidden waterfalls and a small hike with impressive views that probably few get to see - a wonderful adventure not to be missed!
