We definitely enjoyed our bike tour around Vilnius with Bike Baltic Velotakas. Our friendly guide took us to a variety of locations and spoke to us about the culture and the history of this fascinating city. We were there during the winter, so there was some snow on the ground. The bicycles which were selected had suitable tread for these conditions. The tour also included time to stop for food and refreshments at one of the lovely Vilnius restaurants. We definitely recommend this company to anybody fortunate enough to visit Vilnius who also enjoys cycling.
Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed cycling through Vilnius with us, even in snowy winter conditions. It was a pleasure to guide you, and we hope to see you again for another ride!
Very informative tour taking in a large part of the city. Certainly one to do to help oriantate yourself
Thank you for your review! We're glad to hear the tour helped you get oriented and explore a big part of the city. It's always our goal to give visitors a great overview while sharing interesting insights along the way. Hope the rest of your time in the city was just as enjoyable!
Lina (hope I got that right) was very kind and knowledgeable. She took us on a very informative and varied tour of the city. Perfect basis for us to further explore on our own. She is a proud representative of the Lithuanian people with a positive inspirational spirit. Highly recommended 👍
Thank You!
We had an amazing 2.5 hour private bike tour around Vilnius with Dominickas-- it was super! Amazing how much you can cover in this time period - we saw all of the important historical and cultural places, and learned so much about the history of Lithuania, both centuries old, and modern history. Dominickas was a delight, and was clearly passionate about his home country, and shared so much knowledge with us.
Thank you. It was pleasure to meet you in Vilnius.
It is recommended to start the first day of your holiday with this bike ride. The best way to get an overview of the city, what is located where, get a feel for the geography, topography and city center. The guide was great at providing information and getting around different parts of the city.
Dominic shared the history of Vilnius and brought us to many fascinating places around the city. He was very patient with us and answered all of our questions. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see much of the old town and modern areas of Vilnius.
Thank you very much for your kind review and recommendations! We were happy to guide you and look forward to see you again soon! Best wishes from Vilnius
Domas gave us a great overview of Vilnius. The bikes were in good condition, the route fairly easy, and his comments were extremely informative. He covered centuries of history as well as the Soviet era and the more recent independence. I can‘t think of a better way to get to know the city.
Thank you very much for your kind review and recommendations! We were happy to guide you and look forward to see you again soon! Best wishes from Vilnius
Bicycling is a great way to explore Vilnius! I appreciated the inclusion of Jewish history within the story of the city. On thing (and I think this was Viator and not the tour guide) there was some confusion with the time of our trip. I thought I signed up for a trip at 10 am, but when the ticket came from Viator it said 2 pm. I thought I must have made a mistake and rearranged other appointments in the day so we could be there at 2. Then the tour guide phoned us at 10. Where were we? So he also had us on the list for 10 and the ticket was mistaken. Thankfully we went at 2 and had a very nice time, but the error did cause me some stress. There was another error with a different Viator trip in Vilnius - this one the fault of the tour guide, but I am wondering if there might be some other logistical problem going on with Viator in Vilnius.
Thank you very much for your kind review and recommendations! We were happy to guide you and look forward to see you again soon! Best wishes from Vilnius
