We loved our boat tour with Pier! He was so knowledgeable and took us through some beautiful scenery on the lake. He also was kind to pick us up right by our hotel dock in Bellagio and drop us off in Varenna to continue exploring for the day. We would absolutely recommend him
We did the one-hour tour of Lake Como with Pierre. It was truly magnificent. Pierre is an excellent guide, friendly, who introduced us to and showed us the most beautiful places around the Lake. We were also able to drink an excellent Prosecco on board. I highly recommend!

Ermes Boat Tour was excellent. One man and his boat. He was so passionate as he described the area and the city that he loves and grew up in. It was a little rainy when we went out on the lake but it didn’t matter or bring down the tour. Highly recommended.
We had an absolutely wonderful private boat tour of Lake Como! The entire experience was amazing and truly one of the highlights of our trip. Pier was great! Very knowledgeable and friendly. Very easy to coordinate pick up with and responsive to messages. This was the highlight of our trip to Lake Como. Beautiful views of villas and parts of the lake you wouldn’t see by ferry.
We did a 2 hour tour on Lake Como with Pier and it was magical. He left from a small dock on the quiet side of Bellagio. His directions were perfect and the boarding / disembarkation were smooth. There were four of us on board (two couples) but I'd say there was room for 4-6 more easily. At around 500 Euro, I found the price comparable to other private tours. His skills as a guide can’t be beat. His family has been local fishermen for almost a century and he knows everything about the area and tells the stories well. We saw fabulous villas and heard all the back stories, swam in calm waters by the island, and toasted with Prosecco. And he was just a charming and friendly host. Spoke excellent English with a lovely Italian accent. It was a highlight of the trip.
Taking a private boat tour with Ermes Boat Tours was one of the highlights of our honeymoon to Bellagio, Italy. Pier is an incredible captain. Friendly and engaging, he has exceptional knowledge, sharing interesting historical insight about the area as we navigated the water. The surrounding views were stunningly at every turn. While we originally booked a 1-hour tour, we enjoyed it so much that we instantly wished we had reserved a longer tour. The tour was great value for money and completely private for 2 people. Highly recommend this experience. It was the most beautiful morning spent on the lake. Pier was a fantastic guide. His communication from the start was great, meeting point instructions were clear and he even accommodated a slightly different time to maximise on the good weather. He is very knowledgable about the area having been born and raised in Bellagio, and he is happy to answer questions and offer tips to get the most out of your stay. We enjoyed some Prosecco and swimming too! A real highlight of our trip. If you are looking for a tour of the lake please consider Pier instead of the big tour companies.
