Der mit Fresken, Stuckarbeiten und wertvollen Kunstwerken geschmückte Innenraum kann leider nur teilweise besichtigt werden. Das wahre Juwel der Villa Melzi ist der englische Park, der als einer der schönsten Italiens gilt. Eine Oase der Ruhe und Schönheit, in der sich die Wege durch von Blumen gesäumte Alleen, Statuen, Höhlen und jahrhundertealte Bäume schlängeln. Der Panoramablick auf den Comer See ist atemberaubend und macht den Park zu einem idealen Ort für einen romantischen Spaziergang oder einen Moment der Entspannung.
Villa Balbiano liegt am Westufer des Comer Sees in der Gemeinde Ossuccio und ist eine bezaubernde historische Residenz aus dem 18. Jahrhundert. Die Villa steht auf einem Felsvorsprung, der in den See hineinragt und einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die umliegende Landschaft bietet. Geschichte: Die Villa wurde 1787 auf einem bereits bestehenden Franziskanerkloster von Kardinal Angelo Maria Durini erbaut, der auch die nahegelegene Villa del Balbiano von der Familie Giovio erworben hatte. Kardinal Durini widmete sich leidenschaftlich der Erweiterung und Verschönerung der Villa und schuf einen italienischen Garten mit Statuen, Brunnen und von Bäumen gesäumten Alleen. Im Laufe der Jahrhunderte hatte die Villa zahlreiche Besitzer, darunter Graf Guido Monzino, Entdecker und Bergsteiger, der sie mit Kunstwerken und Erinnerungsstücken seiner Expeditionen bereicherte. Die Architektur: Die Villa hat eine neoklassizistische Fassade mit einem Quaderportal und zwei Glockentürmen, einem Überbleibsel der alten Kirche des Franziskanerklosters.

Super experience for all family
Davide was so easy to communicate with throughout the booking process and made it such an enjoyable trip! He had the perfect itinerary for our time window and shared so much interesting info about the Bellagio & surrounding Lake Como area. Would highly recommend!
Bruce was wonderful, so excited to take us around in his Mastercraft to his favorite spot. Pickup point very close to Punta restaurant was easy and a common place for other boats to pick up, highly recommended. He called our driver to help arrange a pickup when we were dropped off. We had the two hour tour with Davide and it was perfect! We saw all the most beautiful spots on the lake, enjoyed a smooth ride and a good balance of funny stories, informative commentary, and silent moments to enjoy the scenery. Highly recommended.
Davide gave us the perfect Lake Como experience. He had incredible energy and was so FUN. He showed us all of the grand villas while keeping the energy fun and light. Since he grew up here, he also gave us his personal relationship to the each property which was always fascinating. The tour was on a modern jet boat with a canopy. Perfect for 2-6 people. We stopped in the middle of the tour and swam around a bit which was a welcome break to the sun and heat of summer in Bellagio. We just had the best time. Highly recommend touring with Davide!!
Bruce with BWT was absolutely amazing! From the very beginning, he made the pickup process incredibly easy and accommodating. Throughout the tour, he showed us all the famous villas, beautiful sights, and hidden gems around Lake Como while sharing great information about the area. One of the highlights was that he arranged for us to stop and enjoy a swim in the lake, which made the experience even more memorable. Bruce was professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure our family had a fantastic time. We ended up heading up to Lake Como kind of last minute from Milan while we were on our family vacation. Davide happened to have an opening for a one hour boat tour. So glad we found him. Such a nice guy. He grew up in Bellagio so had a really amazing knowledge and personal touch to the tour. Literally couldn’t recommend him more

We had a fabulous trip with Davide on Lake Como. Relaxing ride and he is a native of Lake Como area and was very knowledgeable and had interesting stories and history to share. Our daughters in their 20s enjoyed sitting on the front of the boat and playing their music while we rode in the back with the wind blowing in our faces. Lovely relaxing trip.
