Private Bergen Reise : Sognefjord Kreuzfahrt, Stegastein und Flamsbana

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of joining this tour, and I can confidently say it exceeded all of our expectations. From start to finish, everything was incredibly well-organized, engaging, and enjoyable. Our guide, Alekss, was absolutely outstanding—knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about sharing the history and culture of the area. He struck the perfect balance between providing detailed information and keeping things fun and interactive. You could tell he truly cared about making sure we had a great experience. Alekss went above and beyond to answer questions and offer helpful recommendations. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, allowing us to see key highlights without ever feeling rushed. There was also enough flexibility to enjoy each stop at a comfortable pace, which made the experience feel more personal and relaxed. What really stood out was that Alekss made the trip like exploring with a knowledgeable friend. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an enriching and enjoyable experience! Starting out, the drive to catch the boat that took us to the cruise down the fjords was informative and the scenery was beautiful-an appetizer to what was to come. Alekks even stopped halfway for us to stretch our legs, get a coffee, and use the restrooms-very kind and thoughtful. He dropped us off at the boat dock to catch the 2 hour cruise through the fjords - which was breathtaking. We had plenty of time to use restrooms, shop, then he stood with us to make sure we got on the boat. When we arrived in Flam he was right there to welcome us off the boat and show us around the train depot area where we had time to shop, grab a snack, and use the restrooms before boarding the train to Myrdal! He stayed with us and made sure we boarded safely. The train ride to Myrdal and back was the icing on the cake- even more spectacular than the fjords cruise. Once we arrived back at the train station, Alekss was there again waiting for us. We then made the drive back to Bergen with him stopping for us to take pictures of a beautiful waterfall and then offered to stop halfway for another break if needed but we were good so we continued driving! Even though the length of time for the tour was long, it went by very quickly!! I can’t say enough good things about Alekss and this tour!

Aleks was a fantastic guide. Very knowledgeable, charismatic and fun. If we ever come back, we will ask for him to be our guide again (assuming that's possible!) The trip itself is long (full day) but absolutely beautiful and breath taking. Protip: consider eating on the boat because places to stop are few.

The trip was just perfect! We had an amazing tour guide - friendly, informative, helpful, knowledgeable and very accommodating. We got lucky with the weather and had the best time. Unforgettable experience. Thank you so much!

Amazing day touring the countryside of Norway!!! Private van service to Voss, train to Flåm, 2 hour cruise of the fjords and private drive home. Our tour guide Sergei was punctual and we enjoyed his commentary on the drive to and from our destinations. He was so polite and kept us on task. Very organized and loved the special waterfalls he showed us on the way back!

Ivan was our guide and he made the trip a 5star excursion. Book this excursion but be careful on Geirangerfjord private excursion(taxi driver as guide).

Five stars if you take this trip in the Spring or Summer. Our guide Ivan was friendly, informative and well-organized. This tour involves him driving us from Bergen to Voss and putting us on a train while he drives to meet us later. It’s no big deal to take a train to Myrdal then cross the tracks for the famous scenic train to Flam. We just didn’t realize we were on our own for that leg . At Flam he puts us on the two hour fjord cruise and meets us at the end to drive a couple hours back. Plenty of time in the car and at lunch to learn from the guide, but a good part of the day - the train and boat - you are on your own. We enjoyed it except that with the early sunset in Nov the last hour in the fjord was dark. It rained incessantly for the week which is now apparently par for the course in Western Norway so come prepared. We came in Nov because it was our only time off. The tour was a highlight of our trip but we recommend a better time of the year.

Flam railway and the natural beauty of the Fjords. Our guide was a wonderful person but all he did was drive us. He's not from the area and thus wasn't able to be a knowledgeable guide. We spent $1700(!) But could have done better by doing it on our own!

Nothing about this tour was private except the car ride. We were given little information before the tour about the details and ended up in the car for 5 hours, on a train, and on a packed ferry in the fjords. At this price point, we were expecting at least a private boat ride in the fjords. The driver was kind but overall a frustrating experience. I will be contacting the tour operators for a refund.

We had a full day of travel to the sognefjord boat ride and flåm train. Ivan was our tour guide and was so great. Informative, great driver and always around if we needed him. It was the easiest most enjoying day of travel we have had. Amazing!!!

This tour was amazing. Just realize that you do have a driver that will pick you up, but will drop you off at the different venues then pick you up when you reach your different destination's.
