Angkor Wat ist das größte Denkmal der Welt, das am besten erhaltene und ein architektonisches Meisterwerk. Seine Perfektion in Komposition, Balance, Proportionen, Reliefs und Skulpturen machen es zu einem der schönsten Denkmäler der Welt.
Der Bayon-Tempel befindet sich im Zentrum der Stadt Angkor Thom mit 49 Türmen, in denen jeder Turm 4 Gesichter hat, so dass es 196 Gesichter von Budhistatva Avalokestesvara gibt und wir zum nächsten Tempel laufen.
Ta Nei ist ein Steintempel aus dem späten 12. Jahrhundert in Angkor, Kambodscha. Es wurde während der Herrschaft von König Jayavarman VII. erbaut und liegt in der Nähe der nordwestlichen Ecke des East Baray, einem großen heiligen Stausee.
Ta Keo war der Staatstempel von König Jayavarman V., dem Sohn von Rajendravarman, der auch Pre Rup baute. Der Tempel wurde als symbolische Darstellung des Berges Meru entworfen und verfügt über eine fünfstufige Pyramidenstruktur mit überlappenden Terrassen, die von Wassergräben umgeben sind. An der Spitze stehen fünf Heiligtumstürme, die in einem Quincunx-Muster angeordnet sind und den klassischen Khmer-Tempel-Berg-Stil widerspiegeln.
Ta Prohm ist der moderne Name eines Tempels in der Nähe der Stadt Siem Reap, Kambodscha, etwa einen Kilometer östlich von Angkor Thom und am südlichen Rand des East Baray. Es wurde im Bayon-Stil größtenteils im späten 12. Jahrhundert und frühen 13. Jahrhundert erbaut und hieß ursprünglich Rajavihara.

We took a private tour of the Angkor temples, and it was a fantastic experience. The early sunrise tour was definitely worth it. Our guide, Ben, was great. They were very knowledgeable and friendly, and they made sure we could go at our own pace. We visited the three main temples: the famous Angkor Wat, the Bayon Temple, and the mysterious Ta Prohm. Our guide shared a lot of history and stories about each place, which made the trip so much better. The private car made it easy to get around and avoid the crowds. We had a wonderful time and learned so much. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.

I would highly recommend John to be your tour driver in Siem Reap. He is a very safe driver and is very respectful. It was also very easy to communicate. I also highly recommend getting an English speaking tour guide such as Ben when visiting the temples as it is very easy to walk by without understanding the significance or relevance.

Absolutely outstanding service from Siem Reap Private Taxi. John, the owner, speaks excellent English and is a safe, careful, and exceptionally reliable driver (he was always early!). His vehicle — a Toyota van with upgraded, very comfortable seats — felt luxurious and spotless. We originally booked him just for our airport transfer, but once we realized how professional and trustworthy he was, we hired him for two full days of sightseeing, and again for our return to the airport. Having a private car to explore Angkor Wat and the many surrounding temples made all the difference — distances are significant, and walking is simply not realistic. John patiently waited for us at every stop with no pressure or time constraints, which allowed us to visit at our own pace. While slightly more expensive than grabbing random taxis, it saved us the constant hassle of haggling over prices. Plus, stepping back into a cool, immaculate car with chilled bottled water waiting for us between temple visits was a real treat. Highly recommended!

John picked us up at the airport and showed us around various temples the next day. Ben - English speaking guide told us everything about the history of the sites and is clearly well educated and interested in the subject. Nice, clean car, friendly and trustworthy!

We did a two-day tour of the Angkor temples — one day for the grand circuit (Angkor Wat, etc.) and one for the small circuit. Our driver, Mr. Pheakdey, was knowledgeable and thoughtful, on one occasion even coming to rescue us with an umbrella when we got caught in a downpour. Dealings with Mr. John in the home office were smooth and problem-free.
