This Jaipur Temples Tour with India Taj Tours on November 8, 2025, was an utter failure and a huge disappointment from start to finish. What was promised: a full tour visiting 5 important temples as outlined in the itinerary, a knowledgeable guide familiar with the itinerary and temples, pickup on time at 10:00 AM and complimentary water provided What actually happened: we visited only 2 out of 5 temples (Govind Devji and the Galtaji temple), the guide was completely uninformed about the tour and seemed unaware it was a temple-specific tour, we were forced to pay nearly 1000 rupees extra for a cable car ride to a viewpoint with no guide present, the driver was 20 minutes late, causing most of the temples to be closed upon arrival, no water was provided, contrary to what was promised. The tour operator acknowledged the issues but only reluctantly offered a 50% refund, which is clearly insufficient considering we received less than 50% of the promised service. This experience wasted nearly an entire day and was misleading at best. The operator showed a total lack of professionalism and respect for customers. We expected a seamless, culturally enriching tour but got confusion, extra charges, and poor organization instead. The only positive was the good driver. I have contacted Viator for resolution and urge anyone considering this tour to look elsewhere. This operator failed completely at delivering what was sold. Booking number: (1332544667)

We understand how the late start negatively impacted the day, leading to temple closures and resulting in significant frustration and wasted time. While we are pleased that you found the driver professional, we recognize that this alone does not make up for the overall shortcomings of the tour. Regarding the refund, we understand your dissatisfaction with the offered amount, given that the delivered service did not align with what was promised. Your booking reference has been noted, and this case is under internal review at a management level to address operational and coordination issues. We are also cooperating fully with Viator as they review your complaint. We take your comments about professionalism, transparency, and customer respect very seriously. From govinda Ji temple to Galti Ji this is a spiritual journey of Jaipur and a must for anyone who is interested in temples, practices and base understanding of the core faith of the Rajasthani people - a special thanks to Raghu Ji and the driver for a memorable day - Raghu Ji is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to Hinduism
