Die Schokoladenszene in Portland ist überwältigend. Lassen Sie sich von uns durch seine Ursprünge, leidenschaftlichen Macher und Vielfalt führen. Dieser Rundgang befasst sich mit dem, was manche als "Dekadenz" bezeichnen, aber wir nennen es "Freude". Und wir könnten Schokolade nicht ohne den gerösteten Samen unserer anderen tropischen Lieblingsbeere bedecken: Kaffee! Portland ist bekannt als das Herz der Welt des handwerklichen Kaffeeröstens, mit so vielen kleinen Röstern, Kaffeeliebhabern, dass wir Schwierigkeiten haben, sie alle zu probieren. Unsere Tour trifft sowohl die bekannten Höhepunkte als auch einige der Geheimnisse der Schokoladenszene, mit einigen Überraschungen, die wir nicht verraten möchten. Die Tour ist insgesamt ungefähr 3,5 km lang, meistens flach zu Fuß, mit Verkostungen von Schokolade und Kaffee - genau die richtige Menge, damit Sie die Gelegenheit haben, wirklich jeden Schluck und Bissen zu genießen! Wir halten Gruppen sehr klein, so dass Sie eine intime Erfahrung mit Ihren begeisterten Guides haben. (Kontaktieren Sie uns für größere Gruppen oder private Erlebnisse; wir nehmen diese gerne auf!)

Wir gehen durch das funky Portland West End und machen Halt bei Azar Indulgences, wo Inhaberin Christine Azar ihre ideale Kombination aus handgefertigten belgischen Pralinen aus dem Unternehmen ihrer Familie im Libanon entworfen hat. Die einzigartigen Schokoladen von Azar werden in einer Familientradition hergestellt, die über ein Jahrhundert zurückreicht; wir werden eine Auswahl unserer Lieblingsschokoladen probieren (obwohl es so schwer ist, ehrlich zu sein!).
Einer unserer üblichen Stopps ist Less and More Coffee – wir wählen andere Cafés an Tagen aus, an denen Stunden oder Gruppen es erfordern! Jedes Café wird ausgewählt, um die besten und interessantesten lokalen Röster und Baristas zu präsentieren
Im Kulturviertel werden wir vorbeigehen und das Kunstmuseum und seine Rolle in der Umarmung des Handwerks in der Stadt beschreiben, während wir zu einem unserer Lieblingscafés gehen.
Je nach Interesse und Guide werden wir an insgesamt zwei Cafés anhalten, zu denen auch Behind the Museum Cafe und Less and More Coffee gehören könnten. Hier erfahren Sie, wie Kaffee zum Alltag Portlands gehört und wie stark Portlands Kaffeeröster die Stadt und die Welt beeinflusst haben.
Unser zweiter Schokoladenladen befindet sich im Pearl District in Portland. Stunden und Tage variieren, daher hängt dies von der Gruppe, dem Datum und dem Guide ab!

My husband and I knew we were in for a treat because we had done another tour with this company. And we were not wrong. Shannon was our guide and took us on an exploration through Downtown/Downtown adjacent Portland for all things coffee & chocolate. What a super fun time. We enjoyed two delicious cups of coffee and two chocolate tastings--both very different, both very yummy. We have returned to all four stops. And along with the treats for our bellies, Shannon treated us to wealth of treats for our brain about the history of Portland, things to do in the area & nearby, favorite restaurants/etc. She was so knowledgeable and so much fun. We could not believe the tour was over because the three hours flew by. You will not be disappointed if you book this tour.

Such a fun tour! Kelly was fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable about the locations we visited as well as the city as a whole. Coffee was amazing at the two locations we stopped at, and the chocolate locations were fantastic - I’m still thinking about them! There are several restaurants I want to check out and places we want to visit (courthouse, library, shops!) based on what we learned while walking between locations. Wear comfy shoes for walking. Highly recommend!
Nancy was our tour guide; she was on time, was friendly, very knowledgeable. We got a bit of Portland’s architectural history. I would love to have her as my tour guide for any other activity in Portland. Highly recommend her!!!!

This tour was great. The cloud custard iced mocha at Less is More was one of the best drinks I have had. Kellie is fabulous. She's knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly loves her adopted home town. Two thumbs up!
