Very fun and I learned a lot of things I did not know before. Definitely a must go when your on the island.

Everyone was so kind and helpful. The presentations were interesting, interactive, and hands on.

I took my adult children, ages 26, 23, 22, and 18, along with my husband, to the Polynesian Cultural Center for our last big outing after a week on Oahu. At first, they weren’t sure about spending from noon until 9 p.m. there. They wondered what could keep them entertained for that long. But they ended up really enjoying it and thanked me for the experience. We started with the river cruise, a short ride through the park where our guide gave us a quick overview of each village. After cooling off with shave ice from a concession stand, we checked out the shows that caught our interest. Both the paper map and the app made it easy to get around. Every show in each village was impressive. The performers are students from BYU Hawaii, which is nearby. The day went by quickly, and soon it was time for the buffet. The meal was great and everything was well organized. We did wait in line for a bit, but staff guided us to our seats outside under a covered area. My family liked this spot because it felt more open and less crowded or noisy. There was plenty of food with lots of options, so everyone found something they liked and even went back for seconds. The servers were attentive, clearing plates quickly, and it was easy to refill drinks at the outdoor drink station. The buffet opens as early as 4:30, but we decided to catch the last shows at a few villages and sat down to eat at 5:30. That timing worked out perfectly for eating, chatting, enjoying live music, and then taking a walk before the evening show at 7:30. The show was incredible. Phones and filming aren’t allowed, which I didn’t mind because a video wouldn’t capture how amazing it was. The fire dancing at the end was especially impressive. We all agreed this was the perfect way to end our vacation.

Had a great day with the family. Love that there is an opportunity for these students to share their culture and go to school at the same time.

This was my husband and my first time to visit the PCC. We had heard how wonderful it was from many friends and family. My brother’s architectural firm even designed the doors to the island buffet. My husband and I were delighted with all of the interactive elements to each section, and we loved all the different performances in each area. The opening canoe show was amazing and the closing performance was incredible! The food was delicious and everyone was so incredibly friendly. All around the park, we heard people referring to each other as family. It really helped us experience the spirit of aloha as well as build appreciation for many Polynesian cultures. We are so grateful to have visited and definitely plan on returning!

This place is amazing and all the people is super nice and friendly. And the night show is out of this world!!!!

Winderful experience for my family! Four grandchildren ages 4,5,7 and 10 had an amazing time with the activities and we all loved the evening show. We chose the Gateway Buffet since we had a couple of picky eaters and the food choices were amazing! There were a lot of people but so many food stations it was easy to get exactly what we wanted! Overall we all loved tge experience and would recommend!
