In einem Heißluftballon schwebend 2.000 - 5.000 Fuß über der Wüste, ist die 360 Grad freie Aussicht und Ruhe des Fluges atemberaubend. Im Anschluss an Ihren 45-60-minütigen Heißluftballonflug werden die Gäste mit gekühltem Champagner und hausgemachten Speisen im Herzen der Wüste verwöhnt, der perfekte Start in den Tag. Hin- und Rückfahrt zum Hotel ist möglich, wenn die Option ausgewählt ist. Alle Heißluftballontouren checken auf dem Parkplatz für Ballonfahrten am Flughafen Deer Valley ein, es sei denn, die Option für einen Hin- und Rücktransfer zum Hotel ist ausgewählt. Die Gäste schweben über der beeindruckenden Sonora-Wüste und sehen von oben lokale Sehenswürdigkeiten, Wildtiere und Pflanzen.

- Bequeme Freizeitkleidung ist bei unseren Ballonfahrten immer zu empfehlen, da wir die Natur in einer Wüstenumgebung genießen. Die Temperatur im Ballon ist ungefähr die gleiche wie am Boden, also achten Sie darauf, sich den erwarteten Temperaturen des Tages angemessen zu kleiden. An jedem Tag empfehlen wir geschlossene Zehenschuhe, eine leichte Jacke, Sonnencreme, einen Hut, eine Sonnenbrille und eine Kamera
- Um ein sicheres Heißluftballonfahren zu gewährleisten, dürfen Passagiere zum Zeitpunkt des Fluges nicht schwanger sein oder kürzlich operiert oder Knochenbrüche erlitten haben und sollten für die Dauer des Fluges (ca. 60 Minuten) stehen können. Man sollte in der Lage sein, von der zweiten Stufe einer Leiter zu springen und bei guter Allgemeingesundheit zu sein. Alle Passagiere sind verpflichtet, vor der Tour einen Haftungsverzicht auszufüllen.
- Die gesamte Tourzeit beträgt 3 - 4 Stunden, wenn Sie sich an unserem Check-in-Standort treffen, oder 4 - 5 Stunden, wenn Sie unseren Hin- und Rücktransportservice nutzen. Die gesamte Tourzeit beinhaltet Ihre Transfers zu unserem Wüstenstartplatz, die Beobachtung des Ballonaufblasens, die ca. 45-60-minütige Fahrt mit dem Heißluftballon, Sekt und Happen nach dem Flug sowie die Vorlage von Gedenkflugzertifikaten zum Mitnehmen.
- Unsere Touren finden in der Sonoranwüste statt, und die Natur bietet leider keine Toilette. Unsere Start- und Landeplätze variieren von Tag zu Tag abhängig von den Winden, typischerweise in entlegenen Teilen der Wüste. Während es normalerweise reichlich Bäume und Büsche gibt, gibt es während Ihrer Reise keine Toiletteneinrichtungen, also nutzen Sie unbedingt die Toilettenvorflug!
- Obwohl wir die meisten flugfähigen Tage im Jahr haben, kann schlechtes Wetter passieren. Aus diesem Grund empfehlen wir Ihnen, Ihren Ballonausflug immer frühzeitig während Ihres Aufenthalts zu buchen, damit Sie bei schlechtem Wetter an Ihrem gewählten Flugdatum Ausweichtermine für Ihren Flug haben. Im Falle einer Wetterstornierung fallen keine Kosten für Sie an. Sie können Ihre Reservierung nach Belieben verschieben oder ganz stornieren.

Having to wake up very early to drive to the airport, to then drive to the balloon location in a bumpy van with no talking or any kind of entertainment was dull. We were then told to wait in the van while the pilot evaluated the weather. We were not upset about the flight canceling due to the weather, but there was no communication. I’m in aviation and saw the cells and looked over the TAF.. it was forecasted to be higher winds. We waited for an hour in the van.. with no other conversation from the pilot or driver.. and then told it was canceled due to the winds. If there had been some sort of communication and even if the driver talked and asked questions it would have been a pleasant experience. To then drive back another 45 minutes… I wouldn’t book with you guys again to be honest.. not trying to be mean.. but I’d rather it be an entire event from start to finish.
Fun exercise. Felt totally safe. The only thing you need tobbe prepared for is the amount of heat that is used to fly the hot air ballon I would suggest wearing a hat .I would definetly use this company again

Booked this for my girlfriend’s. Our balloon ride got cancelled for weather, which I get, but they waited until our exact scheduled pickup time to tell us. They had to have known beforehand since they’d have needed to already be on their way to pick us up, so there’s no reason they couldn’t have told us sooner. Because of that timing we’d already checked out of our hotel and ended up with nowhere to stay, and they weren’t able to help when we called. Weather happens, but waiting until the last second to tell us something they already knew was not okay

Safety is always our highest priority, and because hot air ballooning is entirely weather dependent, our FAA-licensed pilots continuously monitor conditions up until launch. On the morning of your flight, we notified all passengers as soon as our pilots determined that conditions were not safe to fly. At that point, your driver was already en route for your scheduled pickup. We can absolutely understand how frustrating it must have been to receive the cancellation notice after you had already checked out of your hotel, and we appreciate you sharing that perspective. While weather decisions sometimes must be made later than we would like due to everchanging conditions, we've shared your feedback with our piloting team to provide as much notice as possible, whenever possible. We sincerely apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience this caused and appreciate your understanding that safety must always come first.

As advertised, do look for the company’s email ,Viator is a little out of the look on correct information; location close but about 1/8 mile in opposite direction.The food is not from the advertised restaurant.A lot of Costco items ,but it was all their the set up ,transportation and crew were all there ,tough to hear driver in van ride ,but most likely didn’t miss much .Highly recommend the company,

The overall experience was really good, from the initial pickup meeting all the way to the balloon landing. However, the pilot was quite rude when verifying our vouchers at the end of the adventure. After booking the experience through Groupon and receiving a booking confirmation from Hot Air Expeditions, I had already marked my vouchers as "used." Because of this, the voucher numbers were no longer visible. The pilot became unnecessarily rude when asking for them, which was a disappointing end to a great trip.

Book your adventure early in the week because we were canceled, because of wind,on the day we scheduled, but were able to squeeze it in on the next day. Our Pilot Tommy was amazing. Very professional and also fun. He took time to make sure we were comfortable & felt safe. This was an incredible ride…so peaceful and beautiful! The breakfast was delicious and they even accommodated me with a gluten-free muffin. The basket was a little tough to get in and out of, but I did it even with a bad knee and one knee replacement. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
