This food tour was great! Josmar, the guide, was not only knowledgeable of the food, but also the history to the city, the region, and the architecture. Great tour! Eddy was an amazing, funny and helpful guide. He asked before starting if you wanna try something specific or not. Just one thing: the ammount of the different dishes was sometimes to much (espacially if you're not used to some of the food). I would totally recommend doing it. You'll learn a lot!

We ended up on a private food tour and let me say this was the most amazing food experience ever! Not only were my food restrictions respected, our guide went completely out of his way and gave us a personalized tour based on what we enjoy eating and wanting to try. Every stop, we had options to select like the type of flavor and meat. Zero language barrier and even learned about the food culture. We started with one plan and we ended up with something way better! And yes we tried the grasshoppers and it tasted delicious. Went to multiple markets and even did a pit stop to pick up snacks. I honestly think this is the best deal I'm town. Not only were we fed for the price of a nice sit down meal, we ended up with a tour of the area and met great local food owners. We literally sat with the locals on shared benches and counters. Absolutely would do it again. We are beyond stuffed! Definitely go hungry.

We just wrapped up the most amazing afternoon with Eddie. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sweet, patient and thoughtful. The pride that he has for Oaxaca is contagious. We learned so much, ate a ton of awesome food and visited places that we never would have found. 11/10 recommend a tour with Eddie to anyone visiting Oaxaca.

I highly recommend touring with these guys! I have been to Oaxaca before, but this time I felt more connected to the local roots, thanks to the Lost Taco. I wish they offered these tours everywhere in Mexico, I would definitely book with them again.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm very picky about how I organize trips. I like my experiences designed in a very structured and orderly way, including food. While many businesses don't accomodate and give you a barebones experience, the company went out of the way to give me a experience tailored to my own needs. Both the restaurants and locations were hand picked to be exactly what I had asked for. The staff is attentive, and the dishes were scrumptious. Best mole in the whole wide world. Very reccomended.

As a foodie I was excited since I have heard so much about the cuisine in the area. Not only was the food incredible, but being able to visit little spots where locals go, was such a treasure. People were incredibly kind and helpful. Tour guides were through and the explanations to the food, stories connected to the area, and the folklore was very engaging. I definitely recommend this tour not only as a foodie, but also as one who likes to learn about people! You will not be disappointed!
