NYC Private Mafia Tour mit einem Luxusfahrzeug

Visiting NYC from the UK and took my son on the Mafia tour as he loves anything Mafia, Sopranos and Goodfellas related. Initially thought the private tour was a touch expensive, but now having done the tour I actually think it was excellent value for money as we were picked-up from our hotel, driven round in a luxurious SUV for 6 hour, with our own driver and tour guide Joel, who was absolutely brilliant. Joel really knew his stuff, sharing with us loads of history from the beginnings of the Mafia all the way through to the present day, and throwing in lots of interesting facts and trivia along the way. Joel showed us loads of areas where bad and high profile stuff happened and we were able to walk around and ask as many questions and take as many photos we liked. The highlight for me was not Mafia related, but Joel taking us to the Dakota building where John Lennon was shot and then across the road to Strawberry fields in central park, whereas for my son his highlight was lunch in Neirs Tavern where Goodfellas was filmed. I cannot fault anything about the tour, from making the booking, being picked-up, dropped-off and everything in between was exceptional, Joel is a force of nature, hugely entertaining and has the ability and knowledge to bring history to life, he provides context and perspective on events that I doubt you would easily find on the internet. I cannot praise the tour highly enough and will be booking another one when I visit NYC again next year. Joel you are a legend!

Joel did an amazing job of presenting a treasure cove of Mob history. So well researched and delivered in a professional and entertaining manor. Efficient and concise balanced with depth and well curated stops and scenes to deliver vignettes of the history. My son and I were captivated, entertained, professionally cared for. I would absolutely recommend this tour and I plan on calling on Joel again for even more time to see the full tour.

I am a true Mafia buff and loved the tour. Joel was very knowledgeable and entertaining. It was nice having a car take us around to the different spots. Next time I am doing the six hour tour. Anyone into mafia history, it is a must!!!

My husband's favourite film is the Godfather, so this was a treat for him. We booked this tour from the UK with Robin. The communication was quick and easy and Robin was able to tailor the tour to meet our specific needs. In preparation for the tour, we watched a number of Mafia documentaries and films, which helped us understand the family structure and become familiar with their most infamous characters, of which there's many! Robin contacted us a number of times before the tour, which was reassuring. And on the day of the tour, we were picked up from our hotel in a luxury vehicle and Jules, our guide, whisked us around the various sites. It was so interesting to see the other side of Manhattan and Queens which we wouldn't have seen on a traditional tour. And wow! What Jules doesn't know about the Mafia is not worth knowing! What a font of all knowledge - he should appear on Mastermind! Since getting home, we've been watching more Mafia documentaries and to be able to recognise some of the places on film is such a thrill for us! This was by far the best tour we've ever done. The guide was incredible. He had so much knowledge about every aspect of the mob and was able to keep it interesting with true stories followed by taking us to the locations he was talking about. He was animated and had an answer for every question. This tour was a priceless experience and we would recommend it to anyone that is interested in learning more about the mob and movies associated with that time.

Loved our tour. Our tour guide, Ray, was a delight. He was a wealth of knowledge and pointed us to some great local restaurants.

We just went took a tour and had Joel our tour guide and Alex our tour driver for the private 6 hour driving tour…it was worth every penny! Joel was so well informed and provided such great education to us from start to finish! There was never a dull moment. We started downtown from our hotel throughout downtown, Niers Bar in Queens (which was absolutely delicious by the way and service was great), and saw sooo much more in between and took lots of photos. I highly recommend this tour if you have a chance with your family and friends. So glad we did this for my husbands birthday and will definitely be contacting Robin again so we can request Joel for another tour!

Great time, very knowledgeable, highly recommended, great tour of New York along the way as well, it was well worth the 4 hours!

Joel and Kevin picked us up and dropped us off promptly at our designated location. The SUV was clean and comfortable. Kevin may be one of the best drivers of a large SUV in the city. We were chauffeured to every destination without any issues. Joel is a compendium of mafia information from inception through current day. You will hear and see things that you never imagined and he will answer any questions that you may have. All in all, it was a great tour and you leave with a whole new perspective on the mobster life and history.
