Ihr Nordlicht-Abenteuer beginnt in dem Moment, in dem unser erfahrener Fortgeschrittener Sie von Ihrem gewählten Abholort in Reykjavík abholt und einen speziell ausgestatteten 4×4-Superjeep fährt, der für die bevorstehende Reise entwickelt wurde. Sobald alle an Bord sind, lassen wir den Glanz der Stadt hinter uns und wagen uns in die weite, ruhige Dunkelheit der isländischen Landschaft. Während wir den Himmel nach der Aurora Borealis absuchen, führt uns die Route möglicherweise an einigen der atemberaubenden Natursehenswürdigkeiten des Landes vorbei – versteckt im Schatten, aber durch das scharfe Auge und Wissen Ihres Fortgeschrittener offenbart. Wenn wir auf weniger befahrenen Landstraßen reisen, entfliehen wir den Massen und genießen eine bessere Chance, die Nordlichter in ihrer ganzen Brillanz zu erleben, zusammen mit der ruhigen Schönheit des isländischen Nachthimmels.
Wenn die Bedingungen richtig aussehen, wird Ihr Fortgeschrittener den perfekten Aussichtspunkt auf der Grundlage der Wettervorhersagen des Abends auswählen. Dann ist es Zeit, sich einzuleben und darauf zu warten, dass sich die Naturschau entfaltet. Die Nordlichter tanzen normalerweise etwa 100 Kilometer über der Erdoberfläche – ein jenseitiges Display, das nahe dem magnetischen Nordpol geboren wurde. Zuzusehen, wie Farbbänder über den Himmel fegen, fühlt sich fast überirdisch an, als würde der Kosmos selbst über Nacht malen. Ziehen Sie sich warm an, da die isländische Nachtluft lebhaft sein kann. Wir beenden das Abenteuer mit einem Rücktransfer in Reykjavík von Ihrem ursprünglichen Abholort. Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Nordlichter Naturphänomene sind, die schwer vorherzusagen sind, aber unsere Guides tun alles in ihrer Macht Stehende, um die besten Chancen zu gewährleisten, sie zu sehen.

April : 21 : 30 (21 : 30 Uhr) Die tatsächliche Abholzeit finden Sie im Buchungsprozess und auf Ihrem Schlussgutschein. Die Abholung kann je nach Verkehrslage und Standort bis zu 30 Minuten dauern. Ihre Geduld wird sehr geschätzt.

This was a great. Our guide (H) really made the experience. He was adept at handling the vehicle confidently off-road through the snow, was passionate and knowledgeable about the science of northern lights, took great photos of the group and even told funny jokes. We saw an amazing show of northern lights and would definitely recommend.

The super jeep experience is totally worth it. The tour guide Mr H was great and very knowledgeable of the best spots and timing. He took us high on the mountains where there was a cloud opening and got some of the best lights of the season even when cloud coverage was very bad and snowy. During the same week we had booked a small tour with a different company on a small bus and it didn’t had the versatility that this tour had.

Tour guide was creative and honest about conditions. He found a spot for us to see lights even w bad conditions. Courteous and funny. Highly recommend
We were cancelled the original night due to weather, which happens, so booked on the following night, timings was advised to be at pick up 15 minutes early, the arrival was within this but you MUST be early. We were taken out the city and were told to be patient, it does not just happen and knew it was not guaranteed, went to a couple of different spots, but the driver felt where we stopped finally we had a high chance, he served Hot chocolate, biscuits and Vodka if you wanted it whilst we waited, we saw the Northern lights, had plenty of time to explore and watch and was never rushed, had some pictures taken which we had to look online to obtain but these were free also. The guide explained everything, advised it was not guaranteed, was patient and gave us some explanations on what we were looking for. Very succesful and enjoyable evening.

This is a great tour. Hjortur is a pro, he knows how to find the lights if the are happening. I would highly recommend. Plus, it's a cool ride.

I did this tour 2 nights in a row. First the day I landed (27/1/26) with tour guide ‘Buck’. He was brilliant. It was a very cloudy night, so he went off roading to try and find us some lights. This is why I booked this tour, over the big bus. We were lucky that we saw the lights, but it wasn’t the dancing experience I was hoping for. That’s why I booked another tour. I was given 10% off from the company due to being a returner. The next night I was with tour guide Klemmi. Klemmi was lovely and very informative. We saw the lights within a few minutes. He then drove us to a spot to wait. Around 23:10, Aurora chose to dance. It was incredible!!. Seeing the lights dance was something I dreamed off! Thank you to both guides. They were both great in their own ways.
