Die Nordlichter (oder Polarlichter) sind vielleicht eines der beliebtesten Dinge, die Touristen nach Island kommen, um sie zu besuchen. Dieses atemberaubende Lichtbild entsteht hoch in der oberen Erdatmosphäre als Folge von Sonnenwinden, die mit dem Magnetfeld unseres Planeten kollidieren. Unser Nordlichter-Team arbeitet den ganzen Tag hart daran, Wetterdaten zu überprüfen, um am besten vorherzusagen, wo die Lichter gut sichtbar sein sollten. Die besuchten Orte sind von Tag zu Tag unterschiedlich, wir fahren in die Richtung mit den meisten Chancen, die Nordlichter zu sehen. Da diese Tour wetterabhängig ist und Sichtungen nicht garantiert sind, können Sie gerne kostenlos an einer weiteren Northern Lights Coach Tour teilnehmen.

Reykjavik weist eine hohe Lichtverschmutzung auf, was eine gute Beobachtung der Aurora erschwert. Um dieses Problem zu lösen, gehen wir in die dunklere Landschaft, um nach den Lichtern zu suchen. Sie werden von einem unserer erfahrenen Nordlichtführer begleitet, der Ihnen jede Menge Informationen zur Verfügung stellt. Mit etwas Glück können Sie die Aurora borealis bestaunen. Wenn Sie den Ort erreichen, den Ihr Guide als besten Punkt für eine Sichtung ausgewählt hat, haben Sie etwas Zeit, aus dem Bus auszusteigen, um die Lichter zu sehen. Sie werden viel Zeit haben, um ein paar Fotos zu machen. Wenn Sie Probleme haben, sollte Ihr Guide Ihnen bei der Einrichtung Ihrer Kamera helfen können.

Jonas was a super host - he is passionate about his work and couldn’t have done more to make this enjoyable. The Northern Lights weren’t quite as obliging, but we did get a few glimpses-
Even though we didn’t see the Northern Lights (bummer, but nature does its thing), this was still a great experience. Our guide, JP, was fantastic—super knowledgeable about the Northern Lights and shared lots of interesting facts throughout the tour. He was a great driver, easy to talk to, and the hot chocolate and treats were such a nice touch. He really made the whole experience enjoyable and worth it, even without the lights. I’d definitely recommend this tour!
our driver Kuba was excellent , patience , courteous, helpful and was knowledgeable about his job. it was exciting for me bec it was my dream to come to iceland to see the northern lights i was blessed to see it and we have the perfect driver and guide his customer service is excellent and i would definitely recommend this company a to my relatives and friends when i go back to the US i had a wonderful experienced. I did this tour with Svetlanna, who was in communication with other people in order to get the best spots for us to see the Northern Lights. We were a group of about 20 people in a minibus. She took us to three different locations, one of which had hot beverages inside. The lights gave us a magnificent show that night, we could clearly see them with our bare eyes! Svetlanna gave us some information along the way and drove carefully through the night in Thingvellir National Park.
We were surprised and delighted. The expert knowledge and experience of our driver gave us the best chance to see the Northern Lights. The small tour allowed us to get on and off quickly and have space safely near the bus in the dark night to take photos. I wish I had worn more layers. Standing in the icy wind waiting for the Aurora to appear was tough.
Amazing experience!! We had a lot of cloud coverage but managed to find a spot in the National Park where there was a big clearing for a decent amount of time. Our guide was brilliant and very knowledgeable. He also gave us tips on the best way to photograph the Northern Lights. We booked the small group which was a perfect and we were able to go where the big 53-seater coaches couldn't. We arrived back at about 1am, it is a long evening but definitely worth it.

Michael from Bus Travel Iceland made our Northern Lights experience absolutely magical. Not only did he teach us about the Aurora, but also took us to places where no one else was. Having high hopes to see the lights, this trip became more than we could have ever imagined!
Great tour! Kristoff is a really good tour guide. He is nice and made sure that we all can see the aurora. He drove us to three spots, at the first spot, we could see the aurora but it was really weak. However, at the second and third spot, the aurora was strong and he also took pictures for us. Hot chocolate is also tasty.
