We were in Nairobi for a workshop, and had little time to experience the country. This Safari day was therefore a perfect opportunity to see a lot in a short time. Our guide picked us up at the hotel - it was excellent to get a confirmation on pick-up time via whatsapp the day before. We really enjoyed driving through Nairobi National Park - although we didn't see any big cats, this was absolutely no issue as we saw so many other animals, and so much closer up than I had even imagined. Our guide Watson was very friendly, patient and had a lot of knowledge on all the animals. We next stopped by the Sheldric Elephant Orphanage for a one hour event where we learned about their good work and saw the lovely elephants being fed. Next we had lunch - we chose a great Kenyan buffet. Next to the lunch place was a huge gift shop. While this had a great selection of all kinds of souvenirs, it was extremely expensive. I am sure others are more adept at bargaining than me, though.. Last stop was at the giraffe center, where we got to feed the giraffes, and Watson also made sure the local guide told us a lot of interesting things about the giraffes and the center. All in all a wonderful day.
Initially is was not good as we were not picked up , however after contacting the company they came to collect us with a car and took us to the park. This might have been a blessing in disguise as about 10min after coming into the park we saw a pride of lions which was amazing as they say they are rare to be seen. We also saw some of the big 5 and some other animals in their natural habitat. Our guide was awesome explaining to us various things and stopping in the park to let us take in the animals and see them feeding and walking through the fields. The lunch was buffet was great (evennthough not included it was affordable and Halaal) and was by a gift shop where we could purchase some beautiful Kenyan pieces. The baby elephants and baby black rhino was too cute as well as the giraffe centre where we got to feed the giraffes and see "pumba" roaming around🤭. All in all a good day and an experience I would definitely recommend 👌
We had an absolutely incredible day exploring the National Park! It was the perfect family outing for my partner and I, together with our 4 year old son. Our driver, Watson, was outstanding. He was incredibly friendly, highly knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure we were always in the perfect spots to get the best views and photos of all the wildlife available. I highly recommend this specific tour. Combining the park safari with the elephant orphanage and wrapping up at the Giraffe Centre in the afternoon made for an unforgettable, seamless day.
Total cost for the two of us for the day was just over £200 excluding gifts. This included everything including fabulous food at The Love Birds Art Centre and an excellent gifts/souvenir shop. The Safari was incredible and memories I will treasure for life all thanks to our excellent and knowledgeable guide Watson Munene. I cannot thank this man enough and he is a credit to the Nairobi National Park and all the connected businesses including Kobe Tough Beads & Leather who do an amazing job and have the most beautiful products that made my Kenyan girlfriend very happy. We were privileged to see a Pride of 7 lions amongst so much wildlife. Special thanks to the Elephant orphanage and Giraffe centre also. ❤️🏴🇰🇪

I ended up having a solo tour instead of a group one and did have to pay an additional fee, however it was worth going that day. We got quite lucky in seeing lions (which are typically more rare to see). I also got to see zebras, rhinos, antelopes, giraffes, ostrich's, crocodiles, hippopotamus, and monkeys. The baby elephant's at the orphanage were so cute and it was fun feeding the giraffe's at the center. My guide was able to navigate things smoothly and also dropped me off to a restauraunt I really wanted to try in the area for lunch (cultiva farm). Overall a great experience.

I had a great day exploring on the safari and the guides were friendly and knowledgable. They even provided a pair of binoculars that really helped see far animals, and also see closer animals in great detail. I saw lots of rhinos, zebras, giraffes, and other animals.

Our day trip in Nairobi was nothing short of extraordinary, and a huge part of that was thanks to our incredible guide, Watson. We started early at Nairobi National Park, which turned out to be the perfect decision. Within no time, we were lucky enough to spot a pride of lions resting right by the roadside, an unforgettable sight. Watson’s deep knowledge and instinct ensured we saw an incredible range of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, buffalo, both black and white rhinos, ostriches, hippos, crocodiles, and a stunning variety of birdlife. His driving was flawless, always positioning us perfectly for those once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. From there, we visited the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, an experience that was as heartwarming as it was educational. Learning about the care and rehabilitation efforts for baby elephant, as well as rhinos and even zebras, was truly inspiring. Being able to get close and even pet the young ones was a special highlight. Next, Watson took us to a local market where we browsed beautiful handmade art and enjoyed a much-needed coffee break before heading to the Kobe Beads Factory. This stop was particularly meaningful, as we learned about how the workshop empowers women facing challenging circumstances. The craftsmanship was stunning, and we couldn’t resist picking up plenty of gifts to take home. Our final stop was the Giraffe Centre, where we learned about their conservation and breeding programs. Feeding and interacting with the giraffes up close was an unforgettable experience and the perfect way to end the day. Watson made sure we returned to our hotel comfortably, wrapping up a seamless and unforgettable journey. We truly can’t thank him enough for such an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Nairobi!

This tour gave me a great overview of Nairobi’s wildlife attractions. Nairobi National Park offered an incredible mix of animals with the city in the background. The Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage was both heartwarming and informative. The Giraffe Centre Tour added a lighter, interactive element to the day.
