We feel lucky to have found this tour! Tim was easy to communicate with for pick up times and let us know what to expect for this tour. He was very knowledgeable. Transportation to the village was comfortable. The Masai Village we visited was authentic, we learned so much. There was no bombarding for having you buy artwork from them. Please extend our appreciation to the families who shared their homes and culture with us. The men and women of the community were very welcoming and very nice.

Hi.. Kayleen, kindly provide the details to the review. Tim was at the pickup location on time. At Pickup point: Leopard beach resort parking lot, Leopard beach resort parking lot, Haile Selassie Avenue, Nairobi, Kenya. On time and you were not at the location. Tim tried to link up for an alternate date but no avail. We even have pictures of him at the location on time. Kindly don’t share misleading information.
Visiting a Maasai village is truly a must-see experience in Kenya. Their rich history and deeply rooted traditions are unlike anything else. The simplicity of their lifestyle, free from many of the stresses of modern life, offers a fascinating perspective and is often associated with their longevity and strong sense of community. There is much we can learn from their example of living more simply and intentionally. Traditionally, they would gather under a tree for worship services, a beautiful reminder that faith is about the people and the presence of God, not the building. Our visit was made even more memorable by our outstanding tour guide, Tim, with Safari Port. This was truly the best African tour experience we have ever had. A great experience. Tim the guide was welcoming. Picked me up from where I was staying. I ended up being the only person on the trip which made it extra special. The Masai community was very welcoming. Showing us their way of life. Photos were allowed. Nothing felt forced. Highly recommend!

We went on the Maasai Village tour on our first full day in Kenya and it was a perfect intro to traditional tribal life for this nomadic community.
