Nairobi Food Tour - Street Food Erlebnis Mittagessen

We loved this food tour! The food was delicious and we got to try many different dishes. Our tour guide Faith was delightful and gave us so much insight into Kenya, its food, as well as its wonderful people. Our driver Benson was very informative as well and we had a great experience. Would highly recommend this tour!

Faith was enjoyable and engaging. She loved to share her culture and favorite foods with me. Benson courteously drove us to three different places and joined us to eat at the last. I tried new meats and seasonings and many other firsts. I felt comfortable and safe and really enjoyed getting to know my hosts while eating delicious food.

Faith (our guide) and the driver took us all over Nairobi to try various foods and types of dining places. She always explained what we were eating and why it is eaten by the local people. In addition, while we were driving around, they gave us a city tour as well - so really 2 for 1. We loved the experience and hope others try it as well!

This was one of the best food tours I have taken and I have been on quite a few in different countries. The food was PLENTIFUL. I would definitely recommend going on an empty stomach. The tour guides Faith and Benson were AMAZING. I took this tour on my birthday and they truly made it a special day. Oh and the food was DELICIOUS at every stop on the tour. Please book this food tour you will not be disappointed. It’s the perfect introduction to the cuisines of Kenya but with the added benefit of good vibes with amazing people. If we had time we would’ve booked this tour again just to hangout with the guides.

Awesome tour!! Plenty of food in very local places, we manage to try the Kenyan local cuisine from Ugali to Nyama Choma with many other delicacies in between, even we try the influence of Indian food with a Kenyan touch. Our guide Faith (kabi) and our driver were very friendly and gave us full details of the local and a quick city points while we were driving around!! Definitely a great option for a day tour for foodies!!

If you want to enjoy some interesting Kenya cuisine then this is the tour for you. Simon, the tour guide was amazing. Not only did we enjoy deliciously prepared and unique food, but we got to hear a lot about the culture of Kenya and the customs. It was quite an enjoyable evening, and I would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to know more about this amazing country and enjoy eating new and different things from here.

All of it was interesting from start to finish , a great way and maybe the only way , to go to authentic every day food places in Nairobi.

An experience not to be missed .. you will see parts of Nairobi that you would never see on your own and eat food that is very different and again with out Simon you would never try. Thank you

Not for people without “intestinal fortitute” or who get easily disgusted. Grossly overpriced. Dinner for two at the best restaurant In Nairobi costs $85. This tour costs $107 a piece.

My mom and I had an excellent time on this tour with Simon. We got to explore many different parts of Nairobi while trying out all the local foods. The food was delicious and plentiful...we didn't have to eat for the rest of the day. Simon was very knowledgeable about Kenya and Nairobi and answered all our questions. We got to know Nairobi from a true local. I highly recommend this tour and hope you get Simon as your guide.
