Wenn Sie Städte besichtigen, werden Sie visuell den Weg verfolgen, den Georgien von der frühen Bronzezeit bis zur Annahme des Christentums gegangen ist.

Unser Spaziergang beginnt mit A. Puschkin, M. Lermontow, P. Tschaikowski, A. Dumas-Vater, L. Tolstoi und vielen anderen. Wenn Sie den Weg verlassen, passieren Sie die Orte, an denen sich die Ereignisse, die Lermontow im berühmten Gedicht „Mzyri“ beschrieben hat, entwickelt haben, und steigen zum Jvari-Tempel aus dem 6. Jahrhundert auf - von hier aus sehen Sie einen bezaubernden Blick auf Mzcheta: „ ... wo sich das Geräusch verschmilzt, umarmt, als ob zwei Schwestern, die Jets von Aragva und die Kura ... "
Tempel von Mzcheta Sie besuchen die Svetitskhoveli-Kathedrale (Säule der Lebensspende) - die patriarchalische Kathedrale der georgisch-orthodoxen Kirche. Machen Sie sich mit der Geschichte und den bedeutenden Ereignissen der Vergangenheit vertraut. Hier befindet sich die Grabstätte der Schreine des Christentums - das Gewand Jesu Christi und der Mantel des Propheten Elia sowie die Reliquien des heiligen Andreas des Ersten.
Heidnische Vergangenheit in den Höhlen von Uplistsikhe Eine kurze Straße nach Nordwesten - und Sie befinden sich in einer Höhlenstadt vom Ende des II. - Anfang des ersten Jahrtausends v. Chr. e. Ich habe viele Notizen über diesen ungewöhnlichen Ort studiert, und ich werde Ihnen alles Interessante erzählen. Bei der Erkundung der steinernen Labyrinthe von Wohn- und Wirtschaftsräumen stellen Sie sich das Leben der Heiden und ihre Kultriten vor. Sie erfahren mehr über den Handel von Uplistsikhe mit den alten Staaten Urartu und Medien, über seine Blütezeit und seinen Niedergang. Es bietet auch herrliche Panoramen auf das Kuratal. Im zweiten Teil der Reise können Sie auf Wunsch der Gruppe das Stalin-Museum in seiner Heimatstadt Gori besuchen. In den Sälen des gesamten Museumspantheons sehen Sie die erhaltene Skulptur Stalins, seine persönlichen Gegenstände und Möbel - der Museumsführer führt eine Exkursion durch. Had a great day with tour guide Paata! Visited the oldest Orthodox church in Mtskheta, the cave town in Uliscikh and the amazing ancient defensive fortress on the mountain in Gori! Thanks to Paata, we have learned many new and interesting things! It was also time to take a walk around the local fair, buy spices, churchelas, wines. We had lunch at a restaurant with delicious local dishes! The tour was very informative and rich! Thank you, Paata!

We were recently on a tour with Paat's guide - and it was a real journey through the eras. The route is structured so that you literally go from antiquity through the Middle Ages and gradually find yourself in the realities of the Soviet past. It's really cool how Paata connects different historical periods into one coherent story - without dry facts, but with living details, legends and unexpected twists. Separately, I would like to note that the tour took place in a mixed group, and Paata led it equally easily and interestingly in both languages - Russian and English - without leaving anyone behind. Travelled by comfortable minibus for about 15 people, which made the trip convenient and allowed to see more places without rush. We visited Jwari, Gori, Uplistsikhe and Mtskheta - and thanks to Paata's stories, these places are revealed as a single historical line, where each era logically flows to the next. Particularly liked that the tour is not overloaded with dates, but more about understanding context and feeling time - history really comes alive. Paata is a charismatic and attentive guide who can adjust to the interests of the group and answers any questions. Definitely one of those excursions, after which you take a different look at the history of the region. I recommend it!
