Diese Tour ist auch sehr einzigartig, da es sich um einen Kilimanjaro-Tagesausflug handelt, bei dem Sie die erste Etappe der berühmten Marangu-Route durch den Regenwald mit Vogelwelt und klappernden, neugierigen blauen Affen erklimmen können. Vom Marangu-Tor (1.800 m) zur Mandara-Hütte (2.743 m) Höhenunterschied: 915 m. Verlassen Sie das geschäftige, farbenfrohe Moshi frühzeitig und fahren Sie zum Marangu-Tor, der Schwelle des herrlichen Kilimandscharo. Es ist nur eine Autostunde entfernt, aber Sie werden von der Landschaft fasziniert sein - Kaffee- und Bananenplantagen durch das malerische Dorf Marangu, wobei der Kilimandscharo majestätisch vor Ihnen aufsteigt. Wir melden Sie am Marangu-Tor an und dann beginnt Ihr Abenteuer. Zunächst ist der Kammweg schmal, wenn Sie durch den Regenwald wandern. Es ist üppig und neblig, die Bäume sind mit Moos geschmückt. Sie werden auch müde Wanderer treffen, die vom Gipfel herabsteigen. Gib ihnen eine hohe Fünf für Mühe. Vergiss deine Kamera nicht! Nachdem Sie die Schönheit genossen haben, wandern Sie zurück zum Marangu-Tor, wo unser Fahrzeug darauf wartet, dass Sie müde, aber glücklich zurück nach Moshi fahren. I wasnt ready for a summit climb but i didnt want to miss the opportunity of going up the Kilimanjaro. the day hike with Alpha turned out to be the perfect solution. It was so much fun all the way up and back down. Its actually not a difficult hike and I can see why its called the coca cola but i heard its starts getting more challenging from the ascent to the second base camp. We were picked up in a mini van from our hotel at 06.30 and then drove to the gate. After getting a tour of the main office area of the national park which provides information on the mountain and its climbing history, we started our hike. Some people make it in 7 hours return others in 8 hours. During this hike you will pass different vegetations, you have chances of seeing the blue monkeys and some bird life. I was fortunate enough to see an animal i didnt know existed the hyrax. Saw the little fellow twice looking at me from a tree trunk. You also can visit the crater and the waterfall all this depending on your pace as the park closes at 18.00. I can totally recommend this zrip with Alpha
