Montreal: Abendkreuzfahrt mit DJ

We thought we were there in time, but the gathering space had winding line, and by the time we made the long walk to the boat, there was not a seat to be had. The best fireworks display we've ever seen, thought you are still a ways away. The music seemed like American pop, but being we don't speak French, was good for us.

We were 14 friends together for the evening. Really disappointed. The vessel remained docked due to the freezing of the river for the Christmas cruise on the river in red ribbon version on 13 December. Good meal, but no more. Significant condensation of the structure that dripped into the plates and onto us. Air conditioners and heaters dripped on our tables. The polythenes persuaded the windows completely fogged. Limited parking at $30. Being the last evening, very limited in drink offered on board. So much so that the waitress has to correct our choices that was included with the meal. No Perrier water because no refueling. Clean that leaves something to be desired. The ship needs love. So, too expensive for what was offered. Lots of excuses and little compensation. Except for a free 1.5 hour cruise without meals in 2026 that must hope to receive one day. Customer service not very empathetic. To avoid for the price!

The service was poor, the wait staff was not attentive at all. They forgot about our food multiple times and it took forever to get our drinks. The food was also sub par, Other than that we made our own fun dancing outside with the DJ.

Great boat good music great time to set off with tw sunset views of the city. Especially being on the roof. There are certain angles that you see of the city. You really shouldn't put down your phone or camera until a half hour into embarking. Once you get past the industrial stuff you could probably put down the camera and get ready for the party.

I’m a returning client ,always satisfied 👍 I’ve taken AML cruise every year to watch the fireworks .This year I decided to take the shorter AML cruise to see the fireworks .I booked 8 tickets for my family and costed me 650$ .. to my surprise when we all got there it was not AML cruise but a small navette which we were trapped inside trying to look out through a small port window.I couldn’t understand ,I thought I was on the wrong cruise but they confirmed that this was our cruise .. I’m not the type to complain but it was definitely not worth the price . If I would of known I would of paid 300$ more and went on the 4 hour cruise, there was no indication when I booked on the cruise web site of AML . Basically we were on the navette that brings you from Jean Drapeau to the old port which usually costs 6$ it’s a transportation ferry and I was charged 85$ a person . When reaching out to Customer service , they basically said there is a no refund policy and they were sorry for the misunderstanding and that if we would of called our reservation department they would of told me that it was a navette / ferry .. ⛴️ Please read the fine prints people🚢I believe it was false advertising 😞

4 stars due to the idea. Weather was not good and the DJ was moved to the inside of the boat which is not so great, but better than nothing. The team was very nice and attentive and tried hard. Too bad because of the weather as it would certainly be a great event.

Great activity in Montreal for evenings that celebrate for all occasions, we celebrated a birthday with family it was a superb atmosphere, I recommend!

A superb evening aboard the Rider Maxim! The music of the DJ was very ambient, perfect for partying on the river with friends!

Hello, I wanted to make this comment because the service and food leaves much to be desired. Saturday, September 28 my boyfriend booked the RED CARPET section 5 services. I don't even know why he calls it that in order to attract some $$ customers. We chose despite the Award relying on the TITLE CARPET = excellent served 5* in a classy and comfortable atmosphere. We ended up in the center of the room with a small table that I had no place to put my bag that I had to put on my last chair my back. We paid $700+ for two people. The people sitting around us had taken most 3 services to pay at the end half of the amount of money my partner paid. WHAT'S THE POINT? For two more starters that tastes tuna served on a spoon 🥄 with bread. One bite or two and it was over. Very very ordinary food. IN SUMMARY, IT'S MONEY THROWN AWAY IF YOU CHOOSE RED CARPET. While we went out for a moment to take some pictures THEY SERVED US THE MAIN COURSES WHILE WE WERE NOT THERE.🤨 MEDIOCRE service. I'm used to the best restaurants and that's unacceptable for the Award.
