Excellent guide. Lots of historical information in an easy to remember manner. Good personalty and wit. Darren was very courteous, always finding shade for us on a warm morning! His enthusiasm for Montreal was contagious. We would recommend him to anyone!
Fun and full of great history out into context with current Montreal. We liked the tidbits about saving vieux Montreal.
Rodrigo was a very good guide. He was very knowledgeable about Old Montreal and provided us with tips on navigating our visit. He provided site visit recommendations. In fact, He had a handout that he provided at the end of the tour which I greatly appreciated.
Our guide Catherine was an excellent professional guide - knowledgeable, friendly, a great communicator and very aware of her clients. We learned so much about the history, culture and architecture of Montréal. I highly recommend this tour. Being in a small group really makes a big difference in what you get out of a tour.

We had a great experience with Louise as our guide. She explained the city's history in clear stages and showed us the most amazing buildings in the old town, sharing wonderful stories and illustrations that helped us compare the landscape with historical views. We thoroughly enjoyed the two-hour tour. She also gave us maple candies when we were tired- she was a preschool teacher, understood the city's history and current status, and was very well organized. Her Montreal recommendation list was top-notch too! We went to a few of her recommended places.

Our tour guide, Silvia, was wonderful. She met us at the designated spot, and we left on time with our small group. We were shocked by the amount of knowledge Silvia had on all sites we visited. We didn't realize there would be as much information on the architectural aspects of the city. Just a fantastic way to get to know Old Montreal. Armed with a wealth of knowledge from Silvia, we were ready to explore other areas of the city, including Mount Royal and the Montreal Archaeology Museum. Highly recommend this tour!
