We only offer pick-ups at private residences or hotels within our designated pick-up area. Pick-up times vary depending on your location and traffic conditions. Your guide will send the exact pick-up time the afternoon before your tour via email. Please also check your Viator Message Center. Certain areas in Miami Beach cannot be serviced directly due to local city code restrictions. If your address is in a restricted zone, we will assign the nearest legal and safe meeting point. All final details will be available in your TripAdvisor InfoCenter the afternoon before your tour. Florida weather changes quickly. The tour operates rain or shine. Miami Beach Pick-Up Regulations Miami Beach does not allow pick-ups on the road. Stopping at the curb — even for just a few seconds — can result in high fines issued by the city. ⚠️ To stay compliant and ensure your safety, we only pick up at hotels with a private driveway or loading ramp where we can safely pull in without blocking the street. If your hotel does not have its own driveway: You will receive a nearby meeting point at a hotel with a legal loading area. This meeting point will always be within short walking distance. It will appear in your final confirmation email.

Everything was great, highly recommended!
We booked a tour with Hagen in Miami as a family. Hagen has shown us places that you would not otherwise see as a typical tourist. He knows the history of the city very well and tells it vividly and understandably. That way you get a real feel for Miami, not just the well-known spots. Hagen gives many concrete tips for the days after. What's worth it, what you can save yourself, and where to eat really well. The tour was personal and warm with a lot of humor . In addition, there were many small stories from his life that made everything even more tangible. Thanks for everything, Hagen. If you want to experience Miami authentically, book the tour with Banana Joe. See you next time with crispy flakes and roll mops.
This was our first family trip to Miami so we were looking for something that gave us a general look of the area to give us an idea of places that would like to visit. The tour hit every location that we had looked into when researching our trip. It was well worth the time and the fact that the tour was a small group and picked us up from the hotel was even better. The tour had plenty of stops to get out and check some of the attractions. I would highly recommend.
Throughout our trip around the US we have done a number of city tours. This was terrible. The spending which we drove around for the guide to tell us as we are passing significant sites it was too late to take any photos. His commentary was poor and driving through the poorest parts of the city like these people were a spectacle was in bad taste. 12 people were crammed into a poorly AC minivan so anyone sitting in the back couldn’t hear or see anything. Would NOT recommend

Most of our guests actually love the Miami city tour in our cozy minivan – it’s personal, direct, and you get to ask the guide anything (yes, even how many Cuban sandwiches he’s had that week). But of course, not everyone enjoys the same things – some prefer a double-decker bus with 40 strangers and a pre-recorded voice. To each their own! As for the AC – welcome to Florida! In summer traffic, even the best air conditioning systems start to wave the white flag. It’s not just our van, it’s physics. But hey, you wanted the real Miami experience, right? And yes, we show all sides of Miami – not just the polished Instagram spots, but also the everyday life of this diverse, colorful, sometimes chaotic city. From Little Havana to the fancy high-rises and back, because that’s what Miami is: a melting pot of cultures, histories, and stories. Amazing tour!!! We did a last minute booking and they were able to pick us up and drop us off at our VRBO. Russ did an excellent job taking us around city and is very knowledgeable. We had such a great time seeing everything!! Highly recommend the tour.

It is clear he has great love for the city of Miami.He catered to all personal cultures within the group.
