Begleiten Sie uns zur Walbeobachtung in unseren kühlen Gewässern Alaskas und betrachten Sie dann einen der 38 Gletscher von den Juneau Ice Fields - den spektakulären Mendenhall-Gletscher. Wir Fortgeschrittener Sie auf eine 2-stündige Walbeobachtungstour, bei der Sie Buckelwale und andere Wildtiere beobachten können. Dann ab zum Mendenhall-Gletscher, um einige Zeit zu wandern, Fische am Steep Creek laichen zu sehen oder eine hervorragende Aussicht vom Visitor Center zu genießen. Sie bekommen 1,5 Stunden im Park, aber keine Sorge! Das ist die perfekte Zeit, um zu Nuggetfällen zu laufen und die Ausstellungen im Besucherzentrum zu besichtigen.

Wir fahren Sie mit dem Bus zum Hafen von Auke Bay, wo Sie an Bord unserer maßgeschneiderten Walbeobachtungsboote gehen
Wir fahren Sie mit dem Bus in diesen schönen Park. Die hier verbrachte Zeit hängt von der Tageszeit ab, zu der Sie ankommen. Wenden Sie sich an Ihren Reiseleiter für die genauesten Informationen. WICHTIGER HINWEIS ÜBER DAS BESUCHERZENTRUM : Öffnungszeiten 9 bis 18 Uhr 14 : 30 Uhr und 15 : 30 Uhr Abfahrten werden nach Schließung des VC im Park ankommen, aber der Park, die Wanderwege und Foto-Ops sind geöffnet!

- Die Tour ist bei allen Wetterbedingungen möglich, bitte kleiden Sie sich angemessen und tragen Sie Regenfälle. Es wird empfohlen, warme, mehrschichtige Kleidung, eine wasserdichte Jacke und bequeme, rutschfeste Schuhe zu tragen
- Walbeobachtungen sind zwischen dem 15. Mai und 15. September garantiert.

Captain Nate and his first mate Lena gave us a first rate whale watching tour. The trip was great fun, and we saw several whales. clearly both of them had a great interest in Wales and conservation. I appreciate that this was a local outfit, Chasing Tails, and I would recommend that organization specifically. The mendenhall glacier part of the tour had to be canceled, as there was a threat that the glacier would breach and cause a dangerous situation, so no problem at all there. overall the tour was great, the guides were better, we saw plenty of whales, and I had a great time.
This was an awesome experience. We saw lots of whales and enjoyed our time at the Mendenhall glacier. The guides were very knowledgeable. We would highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Juneau.
We were on the 2:30 your on 8/3. First, the drivers were fabulous! Gave you so much history and information about Juneau! The whale watching was amazing! Our boat was lucky enough to see humpbacks “bubble net feeding” incredible to see and it wasn’t just nice. We saw a ton! Our naturalist Hailey had so much information to offer! We had plenty of time to explore Mendenhall Glacier after the whale watching. Beautiful area to explore on your own with plenty of signs so you knew what you were seeing! Visitor center closes early so stop in there first. 10/10 recommend!
This tour was fantastic! The whale watching portion was out of this world! Our tour was the first week in August, and we saw many humpback whales and even witnessed them bubble net feeding! The boat was comfortable, clean, and spacious and the crew was top notch! Our bus drivers were fantastic and provided so much information and humor. Mendenhall Glacier and Nugget Falls was also incredible. Unfortunately, due to the timing of our tour, the Mendenhall visitor's center closed within 10 minutes of our arrival, including the restrooms, but that didn't bother us too much, and this fact was disclosed to us before the tour began. Our family ranged in age from 9 to 72, and we all had a wonderful time (for about $60-70 pp less than the equivalent excursion offered by the cruise ship).
Fantastic experience all around. Multiple bubble net feeding sightings and an adult breach as well. Couldn’t have asked for a better first whale watching excursion. Entire crew from Wilbur the bus driver who was extremely friendly and knowledgeable of Juneau to the boat crew was extremely helpful throughout the entire trip. Would do this excursion again in a heartbeat. We were also fortunate enough to do both trails at Mendenhall glacier with time to spare at the gift shop.
Fantastic tour! We saw lots of whales, sea lions and eagles. On the boat, Calvin, Brock and Greg were extremely knowledgeable about the whales. Plenty of time at the Mendenhall Glacier too. I only wished for a bit longer for the whale watch!
It was wonderful! Boat crew were all very helpful and friendly and we saw multiple humpback whales and several bald eagles. Beautiful scenery and overall a magnificent outing!!!
We did the Mendenhall Glacier & Whale watch combo. Our driver Melanie to and from the glacier was excellent. Funny, informative and really personable. We had the 3p whale watching tour with the girl crew, Emily, Lauren the Capt and the 3rd young lady. They were AMAZING! So informative. We saw 5 bubble feedings and had the most amazing time. The amount of information they had and the answers they had for the questions was great. Would definitely recommend this crew to anyone. Best EXPERIENCE EVER. And we have been whale watching previously, NEVER have had an experience this awesome before.
The Mendenhall Glacier and whale watching excursion was absolutely the BEST excursion I've ever taken. I highly recommend this excursion. The Glacier was stunning and the Whale watching was AMAZING, we seen so many humpback whales. Do this, you won't regret it.
Saw a group of whales bubbling feed! Evan, our naturalist, was able to local the whales conversing. He was full of information and was as excited as we were. Lauren & Mike were very accommodating so everyone was able to enjoy this fabulous tour. Absolutely my favorite tour in Juneau😀
