Had an unbelievable time out on the water today. Captain Grayson hooked us into rock fish, salmon, and halibut. Caught a TON of fish and got to watch humpback whales while doing so.
Started with the rock fish it was fish almost every catch. Moved on to salmon and did absolutely great right away. Following the salmon we went after some halibut and limited out very quickly. Amazing experience.
Grayson is the guide you want! We got our limit and he is so accommodating. He works very hard and yet makes it fun. He is a very knowledgeable guide and has a lot of experience with the Ketchikan waters. The actual gentleman who booked us was nice, but he assumed we knew certain things we did not know. When you aren’t from here, we had no idea where berth 3 was at first. I would definitely recommend booking with Ketchikan’s Finest and ask for Grayson. We have booked w him in 2022 and today, 2026. He was great both times. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing trip! Our captain was amazing—super attentive, made us feel at home. We saw orcas, caught rockfish and halibut, and ended with a stunning sunset. Couldn’t have asked for more!

Absolutely amazing experience! I had the best time on this charter. The captain really knows his stuff—tons of fishing experience and insider knowledge. He took us to all the right spots and had all the tricks to help us reel in a great catch. We fished for 4 days and consistently came back with more fish than pretty much anyone else at the processing dock. Pretty impressive, especially since I’m not exactly a seasoned pro—he definitely could’ve caught even more if he wasn’t helping a newbie like me… All in all, it was an awesome, authentic Alaskan adventure and easily one of the highlights of my trip to Ketchikan. Can’t recommend this charter enough—way above the standard you’ll find elsewhere.

My husband and friends wanted to fish in Alaska while on a cruise. I found Ketchikan's Finest Fishing Charter on line and called. The Captain/owner was friendly, informative and overall terrific about helping me to set everything up. Captain Tony met us at the dock - no shuttle needed. The guys were on the boat within 10 minutes and catching fish shortly after. They had an awesome time!! We can't speak highly enough about their experience. Again, they were dropped back at the ship at the end. Fish processing was quick and we are now waiting for our receipt of fish caught (just returned from the cruise).

It’s always fun spending time with friends and family on the water! Captain Tony was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I do not have much experience with fishing but with the tips and help given was able to catch quite a few fish. And the scenery was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend this experience!
