Dort treffen wir unseren Guide und entfliehen der Stadt für eine Tour durch das Mekongdelta, wo Sie sehen, wie das Leben jenseits des urbanen Zentrums des Südens ist.
Nach der Ankunft in My Tho gehen wir an Bord unseres privaten Bootes für eine Kreuzfahrt auf dem Mekong Fluss. Dann steigen Sie in ein privates Boot und beginnen Ihre Kreuzfahrt entlang des mächtigen Mekong Flusses. Zwischenstopp bei einer Fischfarm, um einen Einblick in eine der größten Branchen der Region zu erhalten. Ihr erfahrener lokaler Guide bringt Sie zu einer nahe gelegenen Insel, wo Sie durch die Gärten schlendern und tropische Früchte probieren können. Weiterfahrt zu einer anderen Insel im Mekongdelta, erfahren Sie mehr über eine weitere Cottage-Industrie – Kokosbonbons. Besuchen Sie eine Fabrik und erfahren Sie, wie diese Süßigkeit hergestellt wird.
Weiter geht es mit dem motorisierten Karren zu einem Bienenhof! Anschließend Transfer auf ein Ruderboot, um die kleineren Kanäle des Deltas zu erkunden. Zum Abschluss des wohlverdienten Mittagessens treffen wir auf das Restaurant Vuon Dau. Hier können Sie das Menü genießen - erwartet Sie Gerichte wie Elefantenohrfisch, vietnamesischer Pfannkuchen (bekannt als Bánh Xèo), Mekong Hummer, Mekong Sauersuppe und geschmortes Schweinefleisch in Kokossaft mit Wachteleiern serviert mit Reis.
Wir fahren zurück nach My Tho und fahren zurück nach Ho Chi Minh Stadt, wo Sie zu Ihrem Hotel gebracht werden.

We went as a small group in airconditioned bus to the Meking Delta. Our tour guide,.Tan, was knowledgeable and interesting and also very entertaining. The tour packs a lot in and we had boat rides, visited local farms and small businesses. We had a gorgeous lunch filled with local fish, meats, fruit and much more. Everything ran like clockwork. We left our pickup point at 8am and returned to our hotel at 4pm. I would highly recommend this activity.
Had a fantastic day with Thanh. Had been really looking forward to this trip and did not disappoint. Thanh was very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions we asked. We had a tasting at the coconut stop and also tasted local fruits from the garden we visited. We had a fantastic lunch so much couldn’t eat it all! Then we set off down the Mekong river in boats. It was a great trip and Thanh was excellent.
We had Thanh as our tour guide we was very friendly and helpful and knew a lot about the tour. His English was also very good and clear meaning he was easy to understand when going around.
We had an amazing trip to the Mekong Delta. Our guide, Thanh was really knowledgeable and helpful. He highlighted the unique fruit growing in the delta, demonstrated the candy production process and how King Cobra wine was made. He aided us all, my husband and I plus 5 ladies from Australia & New Zealand on and off the boats. I really enjoyed the drive to our restaurant and the sampan boat trip after lunch. Would definitely recommend this trip.
We had the most amazing trip with Thanh as our guide. Pick up was easy, and each component of the tour fitted seamlessly into the day. Thanh was very knowledgeable about any questions and was super friendly. This trip is perfect for anyone- it appealed to both myself and my dad, we found ourselves deeply immersed in all the culture of Vietnam. Our group was small, of 3 of us but this allowed us to easily ask any questions. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone- it ticks every box!!

I especially enjoyed learning about Vietnam’s history, local culture, and produce, as well as meeting locals along the way. This trip is such fun. You get to see some of the best of the Mekong produce. The ivory people at each island or farm greet you with a welcoming drink and a smile. They will show their special area- honey or bees or cocoa or coconut. Special mention of the chocolate and the coconut candy. It’s delicious. Our leader for the day was Thanh. He is knowledgeable and fun, and is so passionate about showing us the best of his country. It was a highly enjoyable experience, and I fully recommend this tour, and Thanh!
