Today’s dive with Michael South was amazing! He is an exceptional dive master: patient, professional, knowledgeable, kind and committed to each diver having an extraordinary experience. The visibility today was great and we saw many different sea creatures. My highlight was the four juvenile eagle rays swimming in formation and several beautiful eels! Lots of wonderful turtles on the second dive. The entire experience was first rate and I highly recommend Extended Horizons!

Extended Horizons never fails to impress and continues to be one of our favorite dive companies on Maui. We saw a ton of unique creatures on our twilight & night dive at mala ramp. Our dive instructor, Mica, was also extremely knowledgeable, understanding, and humorous. We will definitely be returning to Extended Horizons the next time we are on the island!

Brad was great - super knowledgeable and friendly. He was patient, answered all of our questions and took great care of us. He was also super knowledgeable about the local wildlife - he identified all the notable fish, coral, and algae during our dives. Would highly recommend!

Excellent service and friendly, helpful staff. We rented tanks, weights, and a dive flag, and we booked a guided twilight and night dive. The night dive was incredible. We saw mating octopuses (yes, that is the correct plural form of octopus), and we saw a cuttlefish that had just captured prey! Gabby, our guide, was incredibly thorough and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

Excellent two tank twilight/night dive at Mala Pier. We got super lucky as there were only 2 of us who signed up for the shore dives. Philip (divemaster) was super personable, laid back, and competent. Saw very different critters at each dive time; it was totally worth it to do the twilight & the night dives. Saw 3 calm reef sharks starting to move around as the tend to do for their dinnertime, nudibranchs, slipper lobsters, bunch of eels, spanish dancer, spongecrabs. There is a bit of current that you need to kick a bit to get back to the beach, but Philip was right there coaching and his attention never strayed from us the entire dive. Very safe & very fun dives. This was a return trip for us with Extended Horizons. Thanks Philip!

I decided to book this night dive after I did a refresher course. I must say I was very anxious about my very first night dive, but my guides Bruce and Gaby really put me at ease. Night diving is so different from daylight diving. If you’re on the fence—go for it! I have a history of bailing on dives. But because of my awesome experiences doing the refresher dives and a successful night dive, I will continue diving and be more open to pushing my limits

Renting equipment here was seamless and easy. The staff was very friendly. When I had a change in plans they easily accommodated them and went above and beyond.

Erik and Rachel really went the extra mile for me. I needed one more specialty dive to complete my master diver certification. I live in Utah so my dive opportunities are limited. Because I was in Maui for a business conference I only had three nights that were available for night dives. Even though they didn’t have the dives I needed available, Erik worked me into Rachel’s very busy schedule. Rachel was awesome! She is very experienced, knowledgeable and thorough. I learned a lot from her instruction. I went from thinking night dives were “ok” to “I can’t wait to go on my next night dive!”.
