Der erste Blick auf die Tour ist die Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, die ein wahres Meisterwerk der Weltarchitektur ist. Die Montage dauerte 6 Jahre und 2001 wurde sie erfolgreich eröffnet. Diese Moschee ist ein traditionelles, leichtes islamisches Gebäude aus Sandstein und Marmor. Es hat 5 Minarette - ein Haupt- und 4 Seitenminarett, die einen besonderen, unverwechselbaren Look erzeugen. Das innere Design ist reich an Mosaiken, riesigen handgefertigten persischen Teppichen und Kronleuchtern, die mit Kristallen verziert sind.

Das ist ein idealer Ort, wenn Sie sich das normale Leben im Oman ansehen möchten. Gehen Sie einfach die Reihen entlang, suchen Sie nach Gegenständen, suchen Sie nach Schnäppchen und haben Sie Spaß, denn hier finden Sie alles, von Gewürzen bis hin zu traditionellen Teppichen, Vasen oder Souvenirs.
Wohnsitz von Sultan Qaboos. Von beiden Seiten umgeben die Forts den Palast, sodass Sie wahrscheinlich die herrliche Landschaft genießen werden. Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum der Stadt und zieht immer viele Besucher an. Obwohl Menschen nicht betreten werden dürfen, können sie problemlos herumgehen und coole Fotos machen.
Das Museum verfügt über eine umfangreiche Sammlung antiker Waffen, darunter Khanjar, Haushaltsgeräte und Kostüme (von denen die meisten aus der Privatsammlung des Besitzers stammen). Außerhalb des Museums befindet sich ein vollwertiges omanisches Dorf und ein Souk.[2]

A thoroughly enjoyable half day tour! We were picked up direct from our hotel (as were all the others on the tour) and we visited the Grand Mosque, the Royal Opera House, Mutrah Souk, the Bait Al Zubair museum and the Royal Palace. Our guide, Jamal was excellent, giving the group a really well informed narrative throughout. He was able to answer all our questions and was really friendly and sensibly amusing. A really great way to see some amazing parts of Muscat.

Jamal our guide was fantastic! Very friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble. Major bonus that he knows all the best photo spots and took most of them for me! My first time in Muscat and Oman this tour gave me an idea what's around and what to see. The Grand Mosque was the highlight of the tour. Definite must do. Our guide guide was good with interesting information. Mutrah souq we were explored by ourselves or you could sit it out on the Cornish and watch the world go by.

This tour is interesting both in terms of history and also architecture. I did this tour with my family and our local guide was Jamal. He took us to the most important places in Muscat and explained all the history behind it. Jamal is a likeable, knowledgable and funny person. He also knows the best spots to take pictures. He's the goat. We enjoyed the tour so much more because of him. 10/10 guide. Thank you Jamal!
