Malamala Beach Club – Halbtageskarte

The island great! Snorkeling was great with lots of fish. Even saw a reef shark. The staff ere great and very friendly. Full day pass is the best!!

The Beach Club has everything you need. Free beach chairs, kayaking, snorkeling, and pool. The food was really good too. The ferry ride was beautiful. We passed a few other Islands on the way.

The driver that did pick up at hotels parked in a location where hotel security building, big bushes and a tree blocked seeing the bus. He did not bother to get out of the coach-to busy using his phone. Never check listed those that were to be picked up. Gave zero information when he let us out at port. Driver coming back to return passengers stopped a block away from hotel. Several had luggage to get to the hotel walking down the sidewalk and crossing Queens Road. The port area is a bit chaotic and needs some serious studying of the logistics of lots of people, lines and where to go.

Good beach; good view; average service; average water activities. A bit racist, white people always got served first.

A slice of paradise. My husband and I did a half day at the Malamala Beach Club. We were picked up by a coach from the Crowne Plaza. The transfer was easy, then transferred by fast ferry to the island. The weather was perfect, sunny and the water was crystal clear and spectacular. There is a bar, food options, lots of sun lounges scattered around the island. The non motorised water sports were included (canoes, paddle boards, snorkeling gear). The amenities were clean. They also provide you with towels. I would highly recommend even a full day as this place is stunning.

Beautiful island. Transportation picks up in front of hotel at the Bus Stop. Very nice snorkeling right from the shore. Restrooms, showers, pool all fantastic. Food and drinks a little pricey. Island a little commercialized.

Overpriced, Overcrowded, and Ruined by Hostile Reception Staff ​Don’t let the glossy photos fool you. While I know most people seem to have a positive experience here, ours was completely ruined, entirely due to the terrible attitude of the staff. ​Our arrival at reception was far from welcoming—cold, indifferent, and completely disorganized. In particular, our dealings with Masi were appalling. We had to interact with him twice: first when we arrived at our cabana, and again at checkout. On both occasions, he was aggressive, hostile, and completely unhelpful. Frankly, he should not be in any role that involves customer contact. The rest of the staff on reception looked equally miserable. The single redeeming light of the entire visit was our butler, Jalesi, who was genuinely attentive, warm, and caring. It’s a shame his colleagues couldn’t display a fraction of his professionalism. ​As for the club itself, the whole setup feels surprisingly trashy and commercialized. Any sense of an exclusive island getaway vanished when two massive boatloads of roughly 50 people arrived in quick succession, completely swamping the area. The beach looks sandy from a distance, but it is actually very painful to walk on due to all the sharp coral fragments. ​To top it off, the food was far below average. By the time our sliders and fries finally made it to our table, they were stone cold. ​If your hotel already has a decent beach, save your money and stay put. Malamala has potential, but between the aggressive customer service, painful beach, cold food, and overcrowded chaos, it was a total waste of time and money.
