Absolutely the best trip ever. From the amazing guides, amazing long boat adventure up the river, visiting the village, amazing food for lunch, the tubing trip back down the river, the guides singing for us, their attention to us older folk was so thoughtful and all praise to them. If you are considering this excursion, DO IT! This was, without a doubt, the most memorable day of our two-week trip between Australia and Fiji. Our day started early at 6:30 a.m. when our driver, Praneed, picked us up from Denarau Island. The drive to our destination was about three hours, but honestly, the time flew by. Praneed made the drive so enjoyable by pointing out interesting facts along the way and answering all of our questions. The scenery along the way was beautiful, too. When we arrived, we were given lockers for our belongings, and I was even able to rent a waterproof bag so we could take some things with us. We gathered our tubes and boarded the longboat, which took us to a small village. We had the opportunity to learn about the village, the people who live there, and how a portion of the excursion fees helps support the community. We absolutely loved learning about their way of life and the different plants they use for medicinal purposes. It was such a meaningful part of the experience. After leaving the village, we continued down the river by boat and stopped for a short five-minute hike to an absolutely beautiful waterfall. You can swim at the bottom of the waterfall, and we had plenty of time to enjoy it. It was truly breathtaking! Afterward, we enjoyed lunch in a beautiful area set up with tents. And I have to say — the food was AMAZING! It was actually the best food we had during our entire time in Fiji. Then came the tubing! We floated down the river surrounded by some of the most beautiful scenery we have ever seen. It was peaceful, fun, and absolutely gorgeous. Then something happened that made the experience even more special. After we had been tubing for a while, all of the guides began singing. At first, I honestly thought they were playing music on a radio because they sounded so incredible. But they were singing themselves! Sitting in a tube, surrounded by God's beautiful creation, listening to those beautiful voices was incredibly emotional for both my husband and me. It is one of those moments from our trip that we will never forget. ❤️ Our guide, Dougie, was absolutely wonderful. He was so personable, energetic, and full of life. He made everyone feel comfortable and included, and he took pictures throughout the entire excursion. We were able to purchase the photos afterward for only $20 Fijian, which I thought was such a nice touch, especially since we were nervous about taking our phones with us on the river. I believe our boat driver's name was Siya, and he was wonderful as well. I would highly recommend this excursion to everyone! The only thing I wish is that the rest of our group, who were staying at the InterContinental, could have joined us. They didn't go because they weren't sure whether transportation was available from their hotel. If you're wondering about pickup, contact the company! They told us they can pick you up from anywhere, so don't let transportation questions keep you from booking. Yes, it is about a three-hour drive from Denarau, but the drive is absolutely worth it. The scenery, the village, the waterfall, the food, the tubing, the guides, and especially the singing all made this an unforgettable experience. We traveled around Australia and Fiji for two weeks, and this was our most memorable day of the entire trip. Had an amazing time river tubing! It was definitely a long drive to get there, but the experience was worth it. The whole adventure was fun and a great way to enjoy the outdoors. The beautiful scenery, refreshing river, and friendly atmosphere made it a very memorable experience. Patrick was a great guide—friendly, helpful, and made the experience even more enjoyable. If possible, I’d recommend staying somewhere closer to the river to make the trip easier and more enjoyable. Overall, I’d happily do it again and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fun outdoor adventure!

We loved this tour, Leon and the team were knowledgeable, willing to share and answer all our questions. From the long boat ride, village tour, waterfall swim, lunch and tubing is was all alot of fun and great value for money. Highly recommended.

What an incredible day! Fiji River Tubing was easily one of the best experiences of our entire trip. The day started with around an hour to an hour and a half boat ride up the river to a remote Fijian village, where we were able to experience a glimpse of everyday life in a riverside community. From there, we visited a beautiful waterfall for a swim before enjoying a delicious BBQ buffet lunch. After lunch, we jumped into our river tubes and floated downstream surrounded by some of the most breathtaking scenery we have ever seen. The entire area is absolutely stunning and unlike anything we had experienced before. Patrick was our guide and he was incredible. He was knowledgeable, friendly and absolutely fantastic with our kids. He genuinely made the experience even more enjoyable and is a huge credit to the team. The perfect ending to the day was the guides singing for us on the boat ride back. It was such a beautiful moment and genuinely gave everyone goosebumps. If you’re visiting Fiji, I cannot recommend this experience enough. The combination of the village visit, waterfall, river tubing, incredible scenery and wonderful guides made it truly unforgettable. An absolute must-do in Fiji and the highlight of our whole trip.

The whole day was well organised and they could not do enough to help us. The visit to the village was a special experience as we got to interact with the Villagers and learn about their way of life. The lunch was delicious in a gorgeous setting and the tubing was fun with lots of laughs. Swimming at the waterfall was stunning.

This day tour is a great mix of scenery, Fijian culture (village visit), relaxing and fun! It’s closer to Suva than Nadi, it’s a long 12-13hr trip from Nadi, but is worth it. Transfers will pick you up from your accommodation and drive you there, to Navua. Tour operator provides lifejackets to wear & lockers at reception for your stuff. Travel 16km up the Navua River by long narrow motorised boats, through pristine and untouched beautiful rainforest on hills either side. Stop at the local Fijian village that proceeds from this tour subsidises. Your shoulders to below the knees needs to be covered up. There is a lot of steps and an uphill climb. See and hear how the Fijian villagers live and grow crops. Then sail back downstream to stop for a short walk to a spectacular 100m drop waterfall, that you can swim at and around at the bottom. Sail further downstream to park at a riverbank, for a generous lunch. After lunch, put your life jackets back on and get a safety demonstration on how to sail downstream on the rubber tubes. Guides will escort you all the way. The natural current will guide you downstream but then you have to navigate down four separate sets of rapids, which is great fun, for 6kms! A great mix of relaxation, zen, scenery, history and fun. At the lazy point of the river, re-board the boats, to sail downstream back to the boarding point. Showers & toilets are there for you to change out of your wet bathers into dry clothes. Your transfer will return you back to your accommodation. Highly recommend this tour for all ages, without any mobility issues.

Must do while in Fiji. Guides were entertaining and friendly and the food and the scenery were amazing.
