Wenn wir dort ankommen, gehen wir zum Bahnhof Ollantaytambo, wo wir den Zug nach Aguas Calientes nehmen. ist eine Stadt, von der aus man Machu Picchu erreichen kann. Die Zugfahrt von Ollantaytambo nach Aguas Calientes dauert etwa anderthalb Stunden.

Nach Ihrer Ankunft in Aguas Calientes um ca. 09:15 Uhr bringt Sie unser Personal der Agentur zum Busbahnhof. Hier nehmen Sie den Bus, der Sie zur Zitadelle von Machu Picchu bringt. Die Fahrt dauert etwa 30 Minuten.
Sie erreichen den Eingang der Zitadelle von Machu Picchu um 11:00 Uhr.

Bei der Ankunft in Machu Picchu passieren Sie eine Kontrolle, daher empfehlen wir Ihnen, Ihren Originalpass mitzubringen. Nachdem Sie die Kontrolle passiert haben, nimmt Sie unser akkreditierter Guide mit auf eine Tour durch die Zitadelle von Machu Picchu.
Sie besuchen das landwirtschaftliche Gebiet, wo Sie landwirtschaftliche Terrassen oder Andenes sehen können, die aus Steinmauern unterschiedlicher Größe bestehen.
Im Stadtgebiet besuchen Sie die Sektoren Hurin oder Sacred Space und Hanan oder Residential Space.
Im Heiligen Sektor stechen die Deckengruppe, der Sonnentempel, das Königliche Mausoleum, die Königliche Residenz, der Tempel der Drei Fenster, der Haupttempel und die Intihuatana-Gruppe hervor, die den höchsten Platz im Heiligen Raum einnehmen.
Im Wohnsektor sehen Sie verschiedene Gruppen, wie den Condor-Sektor, Los Espejos de Agua (Los Morteros), Las Tres Portadas, Grupo Alto und Roca Sagrada.
Nachdem Sie all diese Orte besucht haben, nehmen Sie den Bus zurück nach Aguas Calientes. Die Fahrt dauert etwa dreißig Minuten.

Sie kommen gegen 14:00 Uhr in Aguas Calientes an. Hier haben Sie freie Zeit, um zu Mittag zu essen, in den Thermalbädern zu entspannen oder die rustikale Stadt zu besichtigen. Sie haben ungefähr 2 Stunden Freizeit.
Danach kehren Sie zum Bahnhof zurück, wo Sie den Zug um 16:22 Uhr nehmen.

Love Cusco Travel Agency
My experience with Cusco Travel Agency was fantastic. The agency helped me craft a five day itinerary that included all the main points we wanted to see. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly, and we were able to do all the activities we wanted to do. Our favorites were Machu Picchu and Pallay Punchu. We booked two circuits for Machu Picchu and our guide Edgar ensured that we had enough time to do both. He also helped us navigate Aguas Calientes and make our train back to Ollantaytambo. Our guide Elisban guided us through Pallay Punchu. He was soooo patient and gave us great techniques for hiking up the mountain, taking into account that this was the highest elevation point during our stay. It significantly helped us avoid altitude sickness. Highly recommend!!!

Highly recommend Cusco Travel Agency for convenience
I booked two tours in total with David of Cusco Travel Agency. Machu Picchu Full Day Tour on July 10 and Rainbow Mountain (Vinicunca) Private Tour on July 11. I went with my husband and we truly had a wonderful time. The tour guides on both tours were each kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. I for one, have lots of questions during tours, and they were so patient in answering and explaining. We had Javier Flores for Machu Picchu and Ricardo for Vinicunca. We highly recommend requesting for them when possible. They were also patient in taking photos for us. This trip to Peru was our visit to South America and it exceeded our expectations mainly because the two places we wanted to see most was made very convenient by David and his team. David is also quick to respond to questions via WhatsApp and you can really see his effort to make sure that he takes care of his customers. Thank you, David and team. We will carry and treasure these memories for years to come and sincerely we have only great these to say about your company’s role in a trip so memorable for us. We highly recommend you to everyone.

Highly Recommend Cusco Travel Agency

Extraordinary experience in Cusco
I planned all the tours with Cusco Travel Agency, and the coordination, planning, attention, guides, transfers, everything was excellent. I want to highlight Amílcar, he was in charge of planning my tours, always concerned and attentive to everything, which made our experience by far the best, thank you very much Amílcar!!! Complete tour, well organized, and full of history.
I had an incredible experience in Cusco. The tour of the archaeological parks was very comprehensive and well organized by Leise. We were able to visit impressive places, learn about Inca history and culture, and enjoy spectacular landscapes. Our guide was very professional, attentive, and explained each site in great detail, making the experience even more interesting.
The visit to Machu Picchu was simply unforgettable. It is a place that exceeds all expectations due to its beauty, history, and the energy felt while exploring it. The tour was perfectly coordinated, with adequate time to enjoy, take photographs, and visit the main points of interest. The information provided by the guide allowed for a better understanding of the importance of this wonder of the world.
I totally recommend this agency to anyone visiting Cusco. It was an enriching, exciting, and very well organized experience from start to finish. Without a doubt, one of the best trips I have taken.
